Development calendar. Educational calendar Calendar for learning children

These didactic materials will help the child learn and remember the names of the seasons and months faster. Download and print the picture-calendar, it will need to be hung in a conspicuous place so that the child often meets the calendar with his eyes during the day. He will involuntarily scroll in memory the names of the seasons, winter, spring, summer and autumn months.

Naturally, before this, it is necessary to acquaint the child with these seasons. Start your story with winter. Be sure to tell the signs of what is happening in nature at this time of the year, what the weather is like, so that the child feels and vividly imagines the full picture of the season.

in winter the day is short. The sun is low and warms weakly. Snow falls. Cold. People wear winter clothes. In winter, we celebrate everyone's favorite holiday - the New Year.

spring the day is getting longer. The sun heats up better. It is getting warmer. Snow melts. Streams run. Leaves appear on the trees. Grass starts to grow. Flowers bloom. Migratory birds are flying. People wear demi-season clothes. The most famous spring holidays are March 8 and May Day.

Summer the sun is high, it shines brightly, it warms well. It's hot weather. Flowers bloom and berries appear. People wear summer clothes. You can swim in natural reservoirs and sunbathe.

autumn the day is getting shorter. The sun is below. It's getting cold. The harvest of fruits and vegetables is ripening. Leaves fall from the trees. Migratory birds fly south. It often rains. People wear warm clothes. The most famous autumn holiday is the day of knowledge.

And winter comes again...

Do not forget to discuss the very concept of "seasons", what a year is. Children often confuse "season", "time of day", "week", "month" and just "time", immediately distinguish between these concepts. Riddles will help with this:

There is a tree in the royal garden. Flowers bloom on one side, leaves fall off on the other, fruits ripen on the third, branches are cut on the fourth. What is this tree? (year)

These birds are flying in a row,
And they don't go back anymore.
In each flock of birds - seven,
You all know them! (Days of the week.)

twelve brothers
They roam one after another
But they don't overtake each other. (Months.)

Stretched bridge
For seven miles
And at the end of the bridge
Golden Mile. (A week.)

Come yearly
To visit us:
One gray
Another young
The third is jumping
And the fourth is crying. (Seasons.)

Invite the child to come up with a story about the seasons.

Don't forget to tell your child that a year is made up of 12 months, and for each season there are 3 months.

calendar seasons

Further knowledge can be deepened by breaking what is happening in nature into months, as shown in the pictures. Ask your child questions: "when do the leaves fall from the trees?", "when are we going to swim in the river?" and the like, in order to fix the material well in memory.

On sale there are calendars with a movable arrow for studying the times and months of the year. You can make such a calendar with your own hands, simply by printing a drawing and attaching a cardboard arrow.

Good help for children in consolidating knowledge about the seasons of the card, coloring drawings and riddles.

How to learn the names of the months with your child

A simple poem will help you remember the months:

January was walking through the snowdrifts, the king of all winter frosts!
February caught up with him - he lost his shawl from a blizzard.

March came running to change, rang out: "Spring, to the start!"
April sailed along the streams, he carried drops in his pocket.

May rustled the foliage: "Take off your warm jacket!"
Dandelion carried June. Do you want a miracle? Just blow!

And in July, and in July we rested on the sea!
August was buzzing with bees, but he was sitting in the forest like a mushroom.

In golden September, we forgot about the heat!
The wind blew in October: we will pick up yellow leaves!

November froze us, threw the first snow on the ground.
December is upon us, ending a long year!

Or another verse:

We learned the names of the months and their order, now you can tell the child a secret how to determine / count the number of days in a month by cams :)

Don't forget to tell us about the leap year!

Thirty days always in September
April, June and November.
A day more in other months,
Only February does not want to catch up.
It has only twenty-eight days,

I'm not the most organized person in the world...

I don't always arrive on time...

I can forget about important events and dates...

Once I forgot to take my daughter to music lessons. I still don’t know how it happened, because even a couple of hours before the start I definitely remembered the lesson, but then this thought just slipped out of my head, and the whole family went for a walk in the forest (dad just didn’t know about the lesson ).

And then I sit and think about how to make sure that I don’t forget, and my husband can navigate in a lot of our activities and tell me “if anything” ... I quickly drew a sign with the days of the week, wrote when what activity, at the same time brought my parents' workout schedule, and stuck it on the fridge. Not bad ... BUT literally the next day, one of us's schedule changed and we had to draw arrows, cross out ... “Necomilfo!” - I thought, and decided to do what I do best - sew a calendar in which you can change the schedule, mark important events, highlight a specific day!!!

That's what I did!

So, for each day of the week I chose a different color. My daughter started going to kindergarten and she just needs to know when the weekend is, so Saturday and Sunday are her favorite colors - red and orange! Each rectangle of the new color is a pocket.

We buy a bright fabric of seven colors, 20 cm each, in the store. We bend each piece three times in this way (as in the photo), taking into account the seam allowances of 1-1.5 cm! Where the name of the day of the week is supposed - we glue it with interlining, draw letters with a pencil and carefully embroider the name of the day of the week on each pocket with a zigzag.

* On each day of the week, transparent pockets were additionally made to put in leaflets with data that can change - this is exactly where we wrote down when our daughter has music lessons and a pool or mom / dad workouts. And schoolchildren can put here the schedule of lessons at school, take into account all additional classes in circles and sections! Now nothing will be forgotten! All in sight!

We cut out seven pockets from a transparent material (some toys are packed in such material), we sew it with an oblique trim. We attach the resulting details to the walls of the pockets of the days of the week!

* Calendar dates are updated with numbers attached to each Velcro pocket! Numbers with a blue stroke represent tens, and those with a red stroke represent ones! I think it will be easier for the child to understand the numbers!

Sew Velcro strips on the walls of the pockets. We make numbers: we cut off three layers: Velcro + dense fabric + thin front fabric, sew with a thin stitch, cut along the contour, process the edge with a zigzag. Numbers are the most voluminous and difficult part of the work, so I think you can look for ready-made applications in the form of numbers in stores and just sew Velcro on them.

* And in order to mark what day it is today, I used buttons and buttons on which many funny symbols are attached. With the help of the sun and clouds, we celebrate today's weather; yellow leaves or snowflakes, flowers or butterflies - help you navigate the seasons; funny or sad faces, as well as holiday balls - reflect our mood!

We sew buttons and buttons on the walls of the pockets. Clouds and leaves were made by hand from dense fabrics; mitten, butterflies, flowers - applications; sun, balloons, smiley - we do the same as numbers, only somewhere we make a slot for a button, and somewhere we sew a button.

* And in order to preserve the idea of a flip calendar - the months are hung on ties and a rectangle with the name of the month can be thrown and put inside the pocket without untying the ribbons (like a leaf on a flip calendar!).

We make twelve rectangles with the names of the months (we embroider the names in a zigzag pattern similar to the days of the week), sew loops to them. We sew ties on the red Sunday pocket (then I additionally sewed on a button so that the pocket would not protrude much over the months).

* Another one of my ideas is the buttonholes on the bottom edge. They have nothing to do directly with the calendar, but this is an opportunity to increase the functionality of the product and once again please your beloved child.

On these straps, like on hooks, you can hang something. We have a small magic bag hung on such a mount, in which small gifts for my daughter periodically appear (sweets, hairpins, bows, small toys ...). After all, kids love surprises! Since it is not yet a new year, we tell her that the Bunny brings gifts.

So, when the details are prepared - each day of the week with an embroidered name, a transparent pocket sewn on, Velcro, buttons and buttons sewn on - we put them together and the front side of the calendar is ready! We make the back side of any material, the main thing here is not to forget to sew on the strips into which the slats will be inserted to maintain the shape of the calendar.

From the remnants of the purple fabric, I made a wide inlay and sheathed it around, making three loops on top so that our calendar could be hung !!!

That's all! Multifunctional calendar is ready!!

Such a calendar:

* a wonderful educational tool for children from 2 years old!

* an amazing space and time organizer for preschoolers and, of course, younger students!

* helps to learn numbers, dates, days of the week, seasons, months, weather features, colors and even letters!!!

*Great for fine motor skills!

* a great gift for your beloved baby!!!

And most importantly: I have become more organized, I myself play with it and help my daughter make the necessary changes, I feel that this calendar gives me no less pleasure than my child!

nature calendar is an educational game that introduces children to the seasons and their features. By completing it day by day, your child will become more inquisitive and will be able to make many interesting observations.

Such a calendar is a large poster with windows into which thematic cards are inserted. Among them, for example, are the names of the months and days of the week, numbers from 1 to 31, plot sketches, pictures depicting flora and fauna at different times of the year.

Some windows the child will need to replace only a few times a year, others - several times a day. We are talking about cards with various weather conditions and natural phenomena: warm, cool, wind, snow, no precipitation and many more options.

The ambient temperature should also be noted daily: for this, a safe children's thermometer is provided on some calendars. Sometimes there is also a special table nearby. If the heat of the air is regularly noted in it, then at the end of the month it will be possible to draw a graph of the increase and decrease in temperature at these points.

Nature calendars on magnets additionally contain cards with holidays - from birthday to Russia Day. In this series, the Smeshariki calendar, designed in the style of your favorite cartoon, was also released. Your kid will fall in love with the game even more if familiar characters watch nature with him! It is convenient to hold the game with magnetic fasteners, for example, on the refrigerator door.

The wooden calendar of nature is a wonderful gift for a young naturalist. Both the frame and removable parts are made of well-crafted natural wood, and the pictures are applied with bright colors of the highest quality. The advantages of such a calendar include the fact that all the windows on it are located on one side, so your baby's notes will always be in sight.

As you look at the illustrations for each season, discuss them with your child. During your joint walks, pay your child's attention to natural phenomena, trees, animals, birds. At home, approaching the calendar of nature, he will definitely remember your recent conversation and will be able to consolidate his knowledge with his help.

The nature calendar is designed for both home and kindergarten. It is best to study concepts related to time in the older group. You can use the calendar of nature at school, in the lessons of natural history and ecology. Children will probably want to continue creating a calendar with their own hands: invite them to draw new pictures for it, come up with their own characters, draw a temperature table if it is not on the calendar itself.

Each time the child will notice some new features in nature, and the world around will seem even more wonderful to him!
