Crochet bodice with patterns: the most fashionable ideas for underwear. How to crochet a dress, digest Crochet bodice patterns and description

Features of crocheting bodices

Of course, when it comes to knitted clothing, the hot summer favorites are tops. They can be divided into two types: either a knitted fabric with an emphasis on decor, or a bodice complemented by fabric. In modern fashion, crocheted bodices have become not a piece of clothing, but an independent element of the wardrobe. They are not hidden, on the contrary, attention is focused on them with decoration and originality of knitting. We propose to consider various ways of their implementation.

A few words about matings. They can be different, the main thing is density and the ability to maintain shape. SBN and C1H (single crochet stitches) are best suited.

For very small sizes, you can use a rectangular or triangular shaped fabric, knitted in different directions. See Fig. for options. 1, 2, 3.

A rectangular fabric can be beautifully draped, tied with cords and this creates a convexity of the fabric. In triangular-shaped bodices, the volume is formed when tying: the edges of the fabric must be slightly pulled together with single crochets.

The triangle knitted according to pattern 1 has a convexity according to the knitting method. It can be increased by slightly pulling the bottom of the cup when tying the RLS. For sizes 44-46 the cup volume should be larger. In this case, knitting according to pattern 2 (photo 1) is suitable. It should be noted that the diagram reflects the knitting principle, but does not give actual dimensions. You must calculate the number of columns and the number of rows of knitting according to your size and knitting density. Rows C1H can be of different colors if this matches the overall composition of the top. Stripes of different colors will highlight the shape of the cup. When knitting such a cup RLS (Diagram 3), the hook can be inserted traditionally under both half-loops, or it can be knitted behind the back wall. In the latter version, the canvas acquires relief.

Cups associated with horizontal or vertical darts are very convenient.

In the first case (diagram 4), it is necessary to calculate the number of sc for the widest part of the cup based on the density of knitting (measure along the bra), dial 6-8 sc less and add them when knitting the lower part of the cup. Knit the dart in partial knitting. In the proposed pattern, the “step” of partial knitting consists of 3 sc. In the first row of partial knitting (15th row of the pattern) do not knit 3 sc, make a ch for lifting, turn the knitting, knit a row and at the end of it (16th row according to the pattern) also do not knit the last 3 sc. Continue knitting in this way until 5-8 sc remain. A smaller number of RLS gives the cup a sharpness that is not needed in this version. Please note that the number of “steps” on each side should be the same. The result is half a cup, which you see in photo 2.

To avoid holes and creasing of the last sc of the “step”, knit as follows: insert the hook into the head of the last sc of the “step”, remove the working thread, but do not knit. Insert the hook behind the leg of the last SC of the previous row (photo 3), remove the RN and knit all the loops together. Usually knit the 3rd and 2nd sc of the next “step” (photo 4), and the last sc as described above. Having knitted to the end, turn the knitting and knit the next row in the same way. The result will be a smoothly rounded canvas (photo 5).

Continue knitting, decreasing one sc in each row on the right and left sides. Step back from the edge one sc at a time, it will be easier to tie. Continue knitting the last 4-5 sc evenly, this will be a strap. Look at photo 6 for a fully knitted cup. While knitting, try on the cup. If you think that it is not convex enough, change the number of sc in the “steps”, for example 3-2-3-2 or 2-2-2...

Knit a cup with vertical darts (photo 7) according to pattern 5. Its size can be adjusted by changing the initial number of VPs and the intensity of increases and decreases (two instead of one or alternating them). These cups look classic and fit almost all sizes. The width of the cup can be changed if necessary, decorating with lace or guipure elements.

A very popular option is knitting from the center with triangles (pattern 6, photo 8).

Cups with multi-colored stripes are especially impressive (see photo 9). Their small drawback is the limitation in the sizes at which they look good.

A very interesting way to knit cups using the “¾ square” principle. Its advantage is that it has many options.

Option one - the classic form according to Fig. 4, photo 10.

Knit the fabric of such a cup from the wide part of the AB upwards. Match the small sides and sew. On a cup top, place the seam under the bust or on top depending on your taste. You will get the same cup shape when knitting a square according to pattern 7.

Option two - Fig. 5: cast on VP along the BAB line and knit with increases in the middle of the fabric (point A). Align points B and sew the cup along a straight line BVB* to the top fabric. The central part of the fabric will look more interesting if it is knitted in a simple and fairly dense pattern, for example, with “flyers” according to pattern 8, or another at your discretion.

Option three - a cup in which one (Fig. 6) or every third of the canvas (Fig. 7) consists of a square motif will look impressive. In photo 11, the bodice is formed by three classically knitted squares from the center.

Option four - diagram 9. General view in photo 12. The same small square at the base of the cup. Knit the remaining 2/3 of the fabric with sc on both sides of the square without any increase.

Notice the dart at the bottom of the cup. Knit two or three of them depending on the size. The upper part of the cup can be knitted openwork, as in diagram 10. It is shown in close-up that a curve is knitted on one side of the square.

Option five according to scheme 11. Look at the general view of the canvas in Fig. 8. This is how it will turn out when knitting from line AB up. To round the shape, knit the inside of the fabric in half-columns. On the right side of the fabric, knit decreases, and the upper part - partial knitting. The VG lines horizontally and vertically must be the same, they need to be sewn. Cups of this shape fit very comfortably on breasts of any size. If you want to have a beautiful product, but not knit a bodice, you can knit guipure elements and sew them on your favorite bra so that it is not visible. An openwork fabric sewn at the bottom will turn it into a spectacular top.

Lots of summer tops and T-shirts.

Knitting bodice:

We calculate the number of loops from the middle of the chest to the desired cup height.

Let's say it will be 40 loops.

double crochets, if you want, make a stripe pattern, and continue with double crochets.

Then knit on half the loops, i.e. on 20 loops. Knit the same width.

The photo shows the location of the seam in red.

Here is a diagram for this type of bodice

I’ll try to show in the photos that I got how I knit and connect the place of the groove in
bodice.

This particular bodice was knitted on 59 stitches.

I knitted the strip to the width I needed, divided the loops like this:

on 29 loops (dc) she continued knitting - 30 loops (dc) she put aside.

First row

before connection:

attached in one step to the second loop from the 29th column (indicated by the arrow in the photo)

Then I tied 2 VP of lifting and attached it with a connecting post through the loop from the previous connection:

U-turn. Second row.

I knit a DC in each stitch of the previous row. I don't take lifting loops into account.

It is very important to monitor the number of loops.

At the beginning I had 29 of them, there should be the same number of them in each row

Knitted the row to the end. U-turn (as usual).

Third row.

I attach it as in the first row:

I knitted 28 dc, the 29th double crochet is not finished,

attached in one step to the second loop of the bottom row

The fourth row is knitted similarly to the second.

In the hot season, when shorts and short tops come back into fashion, it’s time to think about how to diversify your look and create something unusual. A swimsuit or just a dress bodice, knitted with your own hands, looks very fashionable and unusual. A detailed description of the technique of crocheting a bodice in a selection with different knitting patterns is a hot topic for every modern fashionista.

The knitted bodice can be made to individual sizes and is suitable for both those with large and small breasts. Depending on personal preferences and physical characteristics, you can choose the required shape and knitting technique.

The most suitable way to crochet a bodice is with a regular single crochet or single crochet - this way the fabric is denser and will hold the required shape.

We knit a beautiful crochet bodice step by step with diagrams and descriptions of shapes

You can find many different shapes suitable for the bodice, both as an independent type of clothing and as part of a dress or top. Most often, triangular shapes and rectangular fabric drapery are used; only the method of knitting the parts differs. A very popular method is called “3/4 square” and involves several application options:

1. Classic method. The cup is knitted from the wide part (in diagram A-B) towards the top. When the fabric is ready, the smallest sides are tied together and a voluminous bodice detail is obtained. The seam is located under the bust and plays the role of a dart;

2. The required number of air loops is collected along the BAB line (Fig. 5). Next, the fabric is knitted using increases along the midline A. Then the break line BAB is tied and the finished bodice can be sewn to a top or dress;

3. A bodice consisting of small square parts. It could be just one part, or it could be all three. Bodices made from classic squares that are knitted from the middle look very interesting (see Fig. 11);

The bodice, knitted from the middle with three triangles, looks very interesting.

It is convenient to work with such a bodice and choose different patterns for it. As an option, you can knit the triangles together not with single crochets, but with lace fillet stitch.

In order to make such cups more convex, they need to be tied around the edges with single crochets, the number of which will be fewer than the side loops. The edges of the bodice will tighten and you will get the desired shape.

You can knit a completely openwork bodice. In most cases, it will be knitted from the middle in a circle, like a napkin. In this case, it will not have a convex shape and for this you will have to either tie it with a drawstring or leave it as is.

The finished bodice can be tied using the same threads to a dress, a light top, or simply made into a swimsuit.

Trying to crochet a flirty underwire bodice with your own hands

If you want to give the bodice a more voluminous shape, you can try knitting the bodice with underwires. To do this you will need some materials:

  • Threads, preferably cotton (stretch);
  • Bones;
  • Knitted mesh for covering;
  • Matching hook;
  • Sewing threads in color, needle.

First of all, we measure the length of the bones and cut off the knitted mesh corresponding to it, taking into account the hem. Before stitching, the mesh must be folded in half in four layers (wide). Then we wrap the material around the bone and sew it with an ordinary needle; the excess fabric will need to be cut off at the end.

For further work, it will be most convenient to select a ready-made bodice with the desired cup for the sample. The number of air loops is calculated independently depending on the knitting density and pattern.

The calyx will consist of a lower petal and a top. You need to start from the bottom:

  • Cast on three chain stitches, single crochet in the middle loop. This creates a triangle;
  • Since the lower petal will be knitted from the inner corner of the bra, the desired size must be constantly checked by increments;
  • Closer to the middle there is no need to add more loops, knitting along one line;
  • Next we narrow it again according to the cut of the bodice.

It is necessary to constantly check the sample and apply literally every row.

The top of the cup is knitted in a straight line, without increases. You can choose the pattern yourself. The height of the top should also be selected individually for each person.

In order to insert the bones into the cups, an additional 7 rows are knitted with a single crochet along the bottom edge. The bones are wrapped in lower rows and hemmed with thread.

How to calculate air loops correctly?

The calculation of the number of air loops will depend on the chosen model and individual sizes. If you plan to make darts, then the corresponding diagram will give recommendations for a set of air loops.

When selecting ordinary classic models, the knitting density is calculated, depending on the selected material and pattern.

Video on the topic of the article

With separate cups it is knitted for a swimsuit, a top with thin straps or a sundress. The bodice can be knitted using a simple pattern with triangular cups that have a convex center. You can connect and tie the bodice with any pattern or border.

For knitting you will need about 100 grams. thread cotton hook No. 2.

To knit the first cup, cast on a chain of 25 chain stitches. + 3 air.p. for knitting the first row.

Along the chain, knit 24 treble stitches, from the final 25th loop, knit 5 treble stitches for rounding. Then, on the other side of the chain, knit 24 treble stitches.

To knit the second row, cast on 3 chain stitches. lifting and in the opposite direction knit 26 st. b/n, at the top of the cup (3 loops) knit from the first 2 tbsp. s/n, from central 3 tbsp. s/n, from the third 2 tbsp. s/n, then 26 tbsp. s/n in a row.

To knit the third row, also cast on 3 chain stitches first. when knitting the sides of the stitches in each row, it will increase by two and amount to 28 sts. s/n, on the top three loops knit 2 tbsp. s/n, 3 tbsp. s/n, 2 tbsp. s/n, on the side 28 tbsp. s/n.

Knit the second cup for the bodice in the same way.

Connect the two cups of the bodice together and first tie them along the top next to a double stitch through 2 chain stitches. When knitting stitches, skip 2 loops between them; at the top of the cups, knit stitches on three loops without skipping, and in the place where the cups are connected knit three stitches together without making 2 chain stitches between them.

To connect the bodice at the bottom and knit ties, first cast on a chain of air loops 35 cm long, then knit st. b/n along the bottom of the first and second cups, on the second side for tying, also cast on a chain of air loops 35 cm long. Second row: perform st. b/n. For the third row, start with 3 chain stitches, * 2 chain stitches. and 1 tbsp. s/n, repeat from * to the end of the row.

In the fourth final row of the binding, make “fans” with a “picot” at the top; to do this, from the beginning from the second row of the column, knit 3 tbsp. s/n, “pico” (3 air stitches and connecting st in the 1st loop), 2 tbsp. s/n, art. b/n in the next column of the previous row. Knit “fans” to the end of the row.

Every fashionista wants to show off a unique outfit, and needlewomen are no exception. If you knit for yourself or to order, we suggest you crochet a dress. What it will be like and for whom – depends only on you.

There is a desire? Are your eyes burning? Are your hands ready to work? But you don't know where to start? First of all, you should decide: at what time you or your client will wear a crocheted dress.

Yes, crocheted dresses made of cashmere or acrylic can be worn comfortably in winter under a layer of outerwear, but in warm weather you want to show off your knitted product.

Yarn selection

For summer models, it is better to choose natural yarn.

Fine yarn is suitable, the main component of which is cotton or bamboo fiber. Microfiber, acrylic, lycra or viscose present in the thread will give the product additional properties.
Crochet dress models with openwork elements at the waist, neckline or along the contour of the product look very impressive.

The base of the dress is crocheted number 1, 2 or 3. The openwork of the elements is achieved by using a larger hook or including elements with a large number of air loops.

If you are a beginner, you can crochet a children's summer sundress or a straight model dress gathered with a drawstring or belt. For such a dress there is no need to make patterns and fit tightly to the figure.

There are many models of incredibly feminine dresses that are suitable for both a gala evening and a romantic date. Crochet dresses are most often light and openwork. But this is logical; for crochet, most patterns are airy and summery. The most chic is a crocheted dress using the Irish lace technique. Only the most experienced craftswomen will undertake the creation of such a masterpiece.

Which yarn to choose for a warm crocheted dress?

Thicker yarn is suitable for crocheting dresses intended to be worn during cold periods. The warmest items will be those knitted from yarn that is at least 50% wool. But be careful, if the thread contains 70% wool or more, the product may turn out to be prickly. Choose imported yarn or merino to keep the wool soft.

The presence of acrylic in such yarn makes the knitted dress soft, airy and voluminous. Even on the coldest winter evening you will feel comfortable in it.
It is better to knit such a product with thicker hooks, number 4 or 5.

To this day, the model of a winter dress, knitted like a sweater with a high cowl neck and length to mid-thigh or just above the knee, looks quite popular.
