Ready meals have already become an integral part of the lives of busy adults. Now a varied and balanced menu is available for children over 3 years old - “Azbuka Vkusa” has developed a line of children’s dishes “Tasty for Children”. The new line will help parents spend more quality time with their children, as well as just take a break from household chores.

Children's menu developed in collaboration with specialists from the Research Institute of Children's Nutrition, and also approved by the children themselves - 48 food critics aged 6 to 14 years.

In the “Delicious for Children” line- about 20 different dishes: for example, steam soufflé of rabbit and chicken with pasta; beef stroganoff with buckwheat; steamed rabbit meatball with mashed potatoes; roast chicken/or beef; Russian baked fish with broccoli and many others.

All dishes from the ABC of Taste children's line are prepared without frying, from safe ingredients, with a minimum amount of salt and sugar. Preparation is carried out in a separate workshop designed for the production of children's cookery.

It is difficult to overestimate the need for a balanced diet in childhood. Proper nutrition contributes to the development of mental abilities, especially before the age of 14-16 years. And if a child plays sports, nutrition becomes even more important. According to the methodological recommendations for organizing children's nutrition preschool and school age, breakfast and lunch for schoolchildren should in total provide 55-60% of the daily intake of vitamins and microelements. Moreover, certain foods help improve academic performance.

Scientists from the University of Eastern Finland have proven that schoolchildren whose menu includes unsaturated fats (for example, poultry), whole grains, vegetables and fish are more attentive and perceive text information better. Among poultry meats, turkey is the healthiest. It contains Omega-3 unsaturated fatty acid, which increases brain activity.
These and other data from scientists were used to develop the “Tasty for Children” menu.

“Azbuka Vkusa” is pleased to announce the launch of a special children’s line “Tasty for Children”, as part of the production of ready-made cookery under the “Already Ready” brand. In our opinion, this is literally a godsend for active parents! Judge for yourself: the recipe for this line of dishes was developed jointly with the Research Institute of Baby Food, the “Tasty for Children” assortment includes as many as 50 items, and all these dishes were approved and selected not only by adult experts, but also by the children themselves!

Food delivery - the most delicious

Restaurant food delivery market (% of total number of restaurants)

In 2013, the share of purchasing and ordering ready-made food increased compared to the recently popular purchase of various semi-finished products in supermarkets and culinary stores.

In addition, ordering food has become more accessible and easier. You can order online and pay by card or cash.

Let's now look at the general trends in the development of food delivery. The entire market is estimated at about one and a half billion dollars a year, of which 900 million is in Moscow.
In megacities, about 30% of restaurants (and even more in Moscow and St. Petersburg) have their own delivery service. Some of these companies deliver food around Moscow around the clock, which is convenient in a huge city where life is in full swing.

Who orders food and where?

Food orders from restaurants to the office (% of total deliveries)

As RBC research shows, every second resident of cities with over a million people orders food delivered at least once a month. Residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg - on average 2.5 times a month. Moreover, Muscovites order food for work much more often than residents of other regions. In Moscow, more than 45% of orders are delivered to offices.

Men and women from both capitals order food for work with approximately the same frequency, while in other regions women order food more often. Men order food at home a little more often.

74.7% of residents of large Russian cities order via the Internet. Last year, the growth of this market segment was more than 20%. The frequency of ordering pizza by phone fell by 12%.

The majority of those ordering food delivery are people aged 18 to 34 years.

Why do people order ready-made food at home?

More than half of Russians consider ordering ready-made food at home as an opportunity to treat themselves to their favorite dishes without leaving home (55.9%), and every second respondent considers this service a good way to save time and effort (48%).

Less popular views include the attitude towards ordering ready-made meals at home as an opportunity to try cuisines of different nations (24.7%) or to quickly prepare for receiving guests (22.1%). 10.4% of respondents see this as an opportunity to please their spouse, and 3.9% consider it part of their daily life.

Only 17.4% of respondents note that they do not need this format of services. And 14.8% consider it too expensive for themselves.

The most popular dishes are pizza and sushi. People like to order them both at home and in the office, and pizza is twice as often ordered to the office than sushi. They often order lunches for the office. Ossetian pies, shashlik and cakes are also very popular.

Interestingly, all over the world the winner's laurels are shared with pizza by Chinese boxed food, which is practically the only “healthy” fast food, thanks to the use of a large number of vegetables, meat and various seasonings in its recipes.

What is the food delivered in?

Previously, dishes were delivered as needed - in metal boxes, paper, or even in napkins. Now delivery services have a wide variety of packaging at their disposal - corrugated cardboard pizza boxes, special noodle boxes, plastic containers, thermal bags that retain the heat and aroma of dishes

Packaging is divided into individual, group and transport. Food delivery packaging is individual transport packaging.

The most common packaging is all kinds of cardboard boxes. Cardboard is used due to its availability, environmental friendliness and decorative design capabilities using high-volume and short-run printing. In addition, cardboard for different products differs in its parameters.

Pizza and Pie Boxes

Boxes for pizza and pies are made from multi-layer (usually three-layer) laminated corrugated cardboard or micro-corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard is used for its strength and thermal insulation properties. Laminating is done to improve the appearance and improve the quality of printing on the box. The courier must hold out a box of hot pizza or Ossetian pie with one hand, and the box must not wrinkle or even open slightly. A mandatory attribute of boxes for delivery of pizza and pies is the presence of holes in the boxes for air access to avoid excess moisture accumulation. The corners of the boxes can be either straight or beveled. A distinctive feature of some pizza boxes is the perforation of the box lid, which allows you to conveniently and quickly divide the pizza into portions.

Ossetian pies are packaged very hot, straight from the oven. Therefore, a feature of boxes for delivering Ossetian pies is the use of the densest three-layer corrugated cardboard (for example, T-24), which retains strength and other properties even at very high temperatures and humidity.

Boxes for delivery of noodles and other fast food

Boxes for delivery of noodles and other fast food are made from various types of boxboard. To do this, choose grease-resistant and heat-resistant brands. Typically, such packaging is colorfully designed in the restaurant’s signature colors.

Boxes for delivery of noodles and Chinese cuisine in general are distinguished by their airtight design and specially taped seams. This is necessary in order to prevent hot food and sauces from leaking out. Often these boxes can be reheated in the microwave.

Polymer packaging for food delivery

The second packaging option is various polymer packaging and containers. The advantages of such packaging are its low price, varied appearance and shape. Therefore, it is easy to choose the appropriate option for each type of product and serving size. Such packaging can be made from polypropylene, polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, foamed polystyrene and other materials. Such containers are produced using the methods of pneumatic and thermoforming, pressing, injection molding and blowing.

Packaging for the delivery of soup and other liquid dishes and dishes with a significant amount of sauce must be sealed to prevent the product from spilling. Also, during transportation, the lid must be tightly closed, so special locking elements are most often used, and the lid is removed only after they are removed.

Children are constantly on the move - kindergarten or school, dance and music lessons, learning languages, attending clubs and sections. Modern mothers are no less energetic and active. They need to do everything in time. At the same time, every normal mother, of course, wants her child to eat tasty, nutritious and varied food. She reads a lot on this topic, tries to buy natural and healthy products, but cooking every day and planning a diet taking into account all these needs is not an easy task.

To help its clients, “Azbuka Vkusa” decided to develop a new niche for baby food and attracted scientific professionals to the project – the Research Institute of Baby Food of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Federal Research Center for Nutrition and Biotechnology.”

In the process of selecting dishes that were included in the final menu of the line, about 100 options were worked out (each of the dishes had to be palatable to children and at the same time contain the necessary range of nutrients important for growth and development), recommended by the Children's Nutrition Research Institute.

Chef of European cuisine Taras Potapov and brand chef Michel Cheve enthusiastically conjured up the recipes and did everything to impress the children, because the dishes were approved based on the results of their tastings. Over the course of two months, five meetings took place with little gourmets. And the adults then puzzled over how to modify the recipe with the same cauliflower, because not a single balanced diet can do without it.

What else is the difference between children's cooking and adult cooking? When preparing food, follow the immutable principles of children's nutrition: baking in the oven, stewing, boiling, steaming, no fried or sautéed ingredients. A firm “no” to hot seasonings and spices, caffeine, vinegar and other ingredients that are not beneficial for children. “According to the recommendation of the Children’s Nutrition Research Institute, we use a special salt - with a low sodium content, enriched with potassium, magnesium and iodine. If we talk about fish, our dishes do not contain representatives of the aquatic world grown in artificial reservoirs. We use only wild, locally caught fish with high nutritional value - cod, pink salmon, pike perch. The meat meets special “children’s” GOST standards and undergoes the appropriate state registration “For baby food”. We refuse raw materials that contain preservatives, artificial colors, flavor enhancers and other chemical components,” says Tatyana Goncharova, leading culinary expert at the Azbuka Vkusa company.

The strictest quality control of products for preparing treats for children has been established: absolutely all products undergo strict testing for the content of GMOs, antibiotics, pesticides, as well as for compliance with the natural composition declared by the supplier and especially for the presence of vegetable fats in dairy products. This control is carried out on an ongoing basis in the ABC of Taste quality laboratory, and external inspections are carried out by Rospotrebnadzor. “This is important, because not all suppliers are conscientious. For example, the choice of cheese turned out to be a very big problem for us. Many types are stuffed with preservatives, and those declared natural were found to contain vegetable fats when tested. We had to find a manufacturer who would make natural cheese especially for us,” said Tatyana Goncharova.

Obtaining permits for a line of dishes for children is a special and complicated matter. Only having a separate workshop and observing the established standards for the preparation of children's ready-made meals can the production of such products be carried out. Each dish is developed in accordance with the requirements for baby food provided for by the current technical regulations. But Azbuka Vkusa has developed even higher safety standards.

As a result, we got a tasty and healthy menu for children from three years old. The dishes included in the line will help modern parents increase the physical and mental activity of their children. Well, children will definitely make friends with the funny characters of the line!

The first years are the most important, so parents try to give the best to their baby. Proper nutrition will provide vitamins and microelements and help avoid unpleasant disorders.

PRODUCTS FOR CHILD: ALL THE BEST FOR CHILDREN!

Feeding with adapted formulas is not the mother’s selfishness and is not at all out of laziness! Breast milk is the most wonderful thing that nature has come up with, but formula won’t do any harm. Until the end of the 19th century, problems with lactation and breast refusal were solved by a wet nurse or cow's milk, which was contraindicated for infants. The first formulas, more than a hundred years ago, replaced the not always hygienic “donor” milk, and more than one generation grew up on them.

Therefore, there is no need to worry about artificial and mixed feeding: modern baby food products are developed taking into account the characteristics of a growing body and are recommended from birth.

You always know how much the child has eaten, and it’s easier for dad to sit with his son or daughter. The main thing is to select the composition according to age. Before you know it, it’s time to introduce specialized nutrition for children!

WE DEBLOCK MYTHS ABOUT “JARS”

Delivery of baby food in Moscow and the Moscow region is convenient, and there is nothing to be afraid of! Purees and juices are stored for a long time thanks to sterilization, aseptic preservation technologies and vacuum packaging, and not preservatives! It's like rolling up pickles for the winter - only on an industrial scale.

Flavors, dyes and flavoring additives are prohibited, the ingredients undergo sanitary control. The food is crushed according to age and without lumps. Kefir and cottage cheese have optimal acidity, which is impossible to control at home.

Many people are concerned about how much baby food costs: prices start at 23 rubles. It may be cheaper to bake apples in the summer, but a child needs a full assortment all year round. Preparing 100 grams requires no less effort than a pot of soup - taking into account my mother's troubles, it is easier to place an order at home.

If you follow the rules for introducing complementary foods, the risk of allergies is lower than with homemade food, and there are also single-ingredient, gluten-free and dairy-free products. In the catalog of the online store "Azbuka Vkusa" for you:

  • breast milk substitutes;
  • porridge;
  • puree;
  • dairy products;
  • water and drinks;
  • confectionery.
