Jackets knitted with jacquard. Women's pullover with jacquard knitting pattern. Knitting patterns for jacquard patterns with knitting needles with diagrams and descriptions

Jacquard patterns are a very popular style of knitting warm clothes, which the older generation remembers with nostalgia, and young people are happy to prove that this is an ageless classic for all cold times.

Feature of jacquard pattern- repetition of what was done in contrasting color scheme the same pattern throughout the entire knitting. In addition, there can be only one pattern in this style for the entire product, as is often the case in children's version knitting.

There are no “tricky” loops or super-complex weaves in knitting a jacquard pattern, although some patterns can be really difficult to perform, especially for beginning needlewomen. Experienced craftsmen knitters love jacquard patterns for the opportunity to combine the most different motives, and often make up their own, unique, ornaments.

The classic ornament is known to everyone: deer, Christmas trees, snowflakes, diamonds and braids. Professionals call this Norwegian patterns and meander patterns. Therefore, jacquard patterns are often chosen for warm sweaters, socks, hats, mittens, pullovers, and scarves. “Fun” motifs with animals and plants look equally great on adults, teenagers, and children. And how they lift your spirits and complement the festive atmosphere in the pre-New Year bustle!

Knitting patterns for jacquard patterns with knitting needles with diagrams and descriptions

Jacquard patterns are knitted according to counted patterns, in which one cell is one loop, and each character is a certain color of thread. The patterns are knitted according to the pattern from bottom to top.

What are the features of knitting jacquard patterns? They are knitted in stockinette stitch, and threads of the desired color must be used in both knit and purl stitches. Thus, the pattern we need will appear on the front side, and on the back side characteristic broaches and weaves of yarn will appear. Edge loops in multi-colored rows are knitted in two colors at the same time.

There is also a way to describe how to knit a jacquard pattern with knitting needles without broaches. Let's look at it using a simple jacquard pattern as an example.

Classic snowflake knitting without broaches

To work you will need:

We take 2 threads that contrast in color with each other.

The threads along the entire length must be made of the same high quality yarn. It is important to make sure in advance that the colors of the threads do not fade.

Progress:

We cast on 23 loops with knitting needles and two more edge loops, in the end we get 25. The first row of the pattern is knitted purlwise, only with blue yarn. The final edge loop is knitted simultaneously with two thread colors. Further, when working with subsequent rows, it is necessary to knit the edge loops in the same way as described above.

This method will allow you to maintain the tension of the threads along the edges of the product and will not allow vertical broaches to form. When starting to knit the front row, you need to remove the edge loop. Now two threads will be used simultaneously, which should alternate.

In the diagram you can see that the first loop is knitted in yellow. To knit without broaches, this thread is grabbed from the other side, imitating the tying of blue yarn, although it is located closer. We knit this loop and tighten the two threads so that the product has good density.

Then we start knitting in blue. This thread is located a little further from the needle than the yarn yellow color. To create this loop, you need to move the knitting needle to the right under the yellow one, grabbing the blue one and knitting it. After each loop is formed, the thread should be tightened.

The following steps will be simple, based on the diagram drawing and avoiding broaches, follow the same rules as described above in the text. Be sure to knit the edge loops with two threads at once. By following these simple rules, you can knit a beautiful and dense product with beautiful pattern. In the presented photos, you can see the reverse and front side mating.

Simple patterns for beginners

Jacquard patterns are considered quite simple among other knitting methods, but even among them there is a separate special category for beginners - simple. To make it easier for beginner knitters, we have collected simple jacquard knitting patterns, the diagrams and descriptions of which are more than accessible.

Jacquard zigzag

This two-color zigzag is worked according to the following simple description:

Rapport of 16 loops + 2 edge loops.
Repeat the pattern in height from rows 3 to 14.

Two-tone slanted jacquard pattern

Pattern Description:

Rapport 3 loops + 1 loop for balance + 2 edge loops

  • 1st row: (thread A) knit stitches.
  • 2nd row: (thread B) * Purl 2, slip 1 stitch - thread before work, * Purl 1.
  • 3rd row: (thread B) 1 knit, * transfer 1 loop to an auxiliary needle before work, 2 knit, knit a knit stitch from an auxiliary needle*
  • 4th row:(thread A) purl 1, * remove 1 loop - thread before work, purl 2, *
  • 5th row:(thread A) * transfer 2 loops to the auxiliary needle while working, knit 1, knit the loops from the auxiliary needle * 1 knit.
  • 6th row: repeat from the second row.

Drawing for children

Jacquard knitting patterns for children are also rich in a variety of patterns. These can be simple cartoon pictures embroidered on sweaters, hats, mittens, socks, or themed patterns for all occasions.

Openwork Christmas trees

Pattern report 12 loops. You need to repeat the pattern according to the pattern from the 1st to the 20th rows. In the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern of the fabric, purl the yarn overs. Knit two stitches together with a slant to the right. The pattern looks good in both dark and light colors.

We knit according to the pattern:

Jacquard pattern "fox"

To knit one or more fox patterns with 32 loops, you need:

Knit in stockinette stitch using a counted pattern from individual cubes. The presented diagram shows only the front rows. In purl rows, knit according to the pattern. When changing colors, constantly cross the threads on the wrong side. This is necessary to prevent holes from forming.

Proceed according to the scheme:

Lazy jacquard patterns

Another type of simple jacquard patterns is lazy. Often this is a simple repeating pattern. Many lazy patterns are knitted according to the principle: every two rows of the same color, after which the ball changes. The pattern itself is born after pulling loops from other rows. Here are some lazy jacquard knitting patterns with patterns.

Lazy jacquard stripes

The diagram shows the front and back rows. The letters indicate the colors of the thread.
Repeat the rapport in height from rows 1 to 22. Repeat in width 2 loops + 1 loop before repeat + 1 loop after repeat + 2 edge loops.

Explanations for knitting the lazy jacquard pattern:

Each row is knitted with a thread of the main color, while the loop corresponding to a thread of a different color is not knitted, but removed, the working thread remains behind the loops. In lazy knitting patterns, each stitch and each row are listed in strict order. Having knitted the specified number of rows, they return to the first and all operations are repeated.

The patterns indicate only the front rows, since the purls in all patterns of this type are knitted according to the same rule: the loops knitted in the previous odd row are knitted purl in the same color, and the loops removed in the previous row are removed again without knitting, Moreover, the working thread should go over the loops.

The letters A and B opposite the first rows of the pattern indicate the color of the thread that is used to knit two paired rows: front and back. For example, the 1st and 2nd rows are knitted with a thread of color A, while the loop indicating color B is removed, the thread on the front side remains behind the work, on the back - in front of the work. Next, the colors of the thread alternate every two paired rows.

The patterns begin with knitting a pattern, so the two initial rows need to be knitted with thread of color B. If desired, not two, but more colors of yarn can be used in the pattern, but the principle of alternating colors remains unchanged.

Lazy jacquard honeycomb

To knit this pattern, two colors of yarn are used. Every two rows are knitted in one color according to the following pattern with description:

Sweater patterns

Sweater with jacquard pattern- a winter hit for all times, because such things never go out of fashion. Jumpers with snowflakes, deer, Christmas trees and all kinds of geometric shapes many already strongly associate it with New Year holidays, along with “The Irony of Fate”, champagne and the smell of tangerine. We offer several options for patterns with descriptions of knitting sweaters with a jacquard pattern.

Classic sweater with deer

Sweater sizes: 42, 44, 46, 48 and 50.

Suitable for a sweater: Sisu yarn (80% wool, 20% nylon). Yarn consumption for each size: 350, 400, 400, 450 and 450 g for light shades and 100 g for dark shades. Requires size 2 and 3.5 circular needles.

The knitting density is twenty-seven loops - ten centimeters.

We knit a jacquard pattern according to the following detailed pattern:

The front and back are knitted first. At the initial stage, you need to cast on circular knitting needles with the second number a certain number of loops from light yarn, respectively 220, 244, 264, 288 and 308. Next, a two-by-two elastic band is knitted in a sequence of two front and two purl elements (for the first three sizes - 6 cm, for the remaining two – 7 cm).

After this, you have to change the needles to the third number and knit based on the faces. iron. Having knitted forty-one centimeters, the loops are divided into two parts for the front and back (100, 112, 122, 134 and 144 links). Among these loops you need to close off ten for the armhole. Now you can leave them for a while.

To create the sleeves of a sweater with deer, action plan like this: make a set of such a number of loops from light yarn (knitting needles No. 2): 52, 56, 60, 60 and 64. Then there is circular knitting of an elastic band two by two, 6 cm long for sizes 42, 44 and 46 and 7 cm - 48 and 50. The next stage is the transition to knitting needles with the third number. In the first row you need to add 5, 5, 9, 7 stitches = 57, 61, 65, 69 and 71 stitches. Next comes the front stitch.

To expand the sleeve, an even number of links is added, namely 28 for all sizes except the last fiftieth, in this case their number will be 32 pieces. Then there is an addition of one loop in all tenth rows on both sides of the first. After 47, 47, 48, 48 and 48 cm on the knitting needles: 85, 89, 93, 97 and 103 buttonholes. Next, the first link, the fifth on each side of it (eleven in total), is closed for the armhole. The remainder, respectively: 74, 78, 82, 86, 92 units (they are postponed).

The next step in knitting a sweater with deer will be to create a yoke using circular needles number three, where the set aside links are placed (= 348, 380, 408, 440, 472). Knit section “A” according to the diagram. Having reached the fifth row, it is worth carrying out a uniform decrease in the elements: 28, 28, 24, 24 and 24 = 320, 352, 384, 416 and 448.

Now segment “B” is knitted according to the pattern. Please note that the arrow indicates the correct size. The reduction of the links occurs as indicated in the diagram (this is necessary to narrow the sweater). After you have knitted to a certain point, put an additional needle into work. This tool is used to remove the middle twenty-two buttonholes along the front and back. Those links that remain are knitted as knit and purl rows until the end of segment “B” in the pattern.

Having finished knitting segment “B” on the tools, you should have the following number of links: 172, 184, 196, 212 and 228, taking into account the loops from the additional knitting needles. Next comes knitting segment “C”. Upon completion, proceed to a uniform decrease: 52, 56, 60, 64 and 68. Now you can switch to knitting needles with the second number.

The last step in knitting a sweater with deer is knitting a collar based on two by two elastic: 16, 16, 17, 18 and 18 cm. The final stage consists of closing all the loops and sewing the sleeves into the armholes.

Knitting density, stockinette stitch on knitting needles No. 6: 14 sts x 18 r. = 10 x 10 cm.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Back: on needles No. 6 with gray yarn, cast on 57 sts and knit 10 rows with a 1x1 rib. Next, knit 42 rows in stockinette stitch. In the 53rd row from the beginning of work, attach pink yarn and knit according to jacquard pattern No. 2. Cut off the gray yarn. Next, knit in stockinette stitch with pink yarn. In the 107th row from the beginning of work, close all the loops in one row.

Before: on needles No. 6, cast on 57 sts with gray yarn and knit 10 rows with a 1x1 rib. Next, knit 29 rows in stockinette stitch. In the 30th row from the beginning of work, attach pink yarn and knit according to jacquard pattern No. 1. Cut off the gray yarn. Next, knit in stockinette stitch with pink yarn. To design the neck line in the 97th row from the beginning of work, close the middle 21 sts and on both sides of them in each 2nd row 1 time for 2 sts, 3 times for 1 st. On the knitting needles = 13 sts. B 107 On the -th row from the beginning of work, close all the loops in one row.

Right sleeve: on needles No. 6, cast on 31 stitches with gray yarn and knit 10 rows with a 1x1 rib. Next, knit 29 rows in stockinette stitch. In the 30th row from the beginning of work, attach pink yarn and knit according to jacquard pattern No. 2. Cut off the gray yarn. Next, knit with stockinette stitch and pink yarn. To expand the sleeves, in the 8th row from the beginning of the front stitch, increase 1 stitch on both sides, then in each 8th row 7 times, 1 stitch. On the knitting needles = 47 stitches. In the 81st row from the start of work, all close the loops in one row.

Left sleeve: knit like the right sleeve.

Assembly. Sew side and shoulder seams. Sew seams on sleeves. Sew the sleeves into the armholes.
Binding: cast on 70 sts along the neckline using needles No. 5 with pink yarn and knit 4 rows in stockinette stitch.
5th row: * 2 stitches together, 1 yarn over *, repeat from * to * until the end of the row. Next, knit 4 rows in stockinette stitch. In the 10th row from the beginning of work, close all the loops in one row. Bend the binding to the front side and pin it.

A small explanation of the purl loop behind the back wall. (the third method is the simplest)
If experienced craftswomen There are people here who are good at jacquard, please explain to us, inexperienced people, how to knit correctly.)))

So let's get started! Smooth loops everyone!!!

Here is my humble beginning. I started knitting the back. For my size 42 I cast on 91 stitches + 2 edge stitches. I knitted 20 rows with 1*1 rib. and began to stitch with stockinette stitch. The description says to knit 42 rows, but since the threads turned out to be thin, I will knit more. Approximately, just below the armpits, then I will move on to jacquard.

and this is the color, however, no matter how hard I try, it is not conveyed.

20.02.2015
My progress for today.

The jacquard turned out to be a little tight, but when worn, everything will straighten out, so knit it looser.
I got 12 snowflakes. For my size 42, the calculations as in the pattern are ideal.
The purl row just doesn’t work out like in the video, so I got used to knitting it in my own way. Then I'll post a photo of the inside.
Overall, I like it. I think I'll finish my back today.

25.02.2015

Knitted the back. At first I wanted to do it with armholes, but then I changed my mind and knitted it with straight fabric. I haven't washed or steamed anything yet.

As promised, I’m showing you the inside out. It may not be very neat, but it will do for you. The threads are constantly getting tangled.

And this is the beginning of the front. I have already started knitting jacquard. It will appear in the middle of the canvas. I knit like this: 18 coral loops, 55 jacquard loops, and again 18 coral loops.

A little description of my front:

I got 174 rows for the back, based on this I made a small calculation so that the color on the back would match the color of the front, so to speak:
* elastic - 20 rows
*persons smooth surface (coral) - 50 rows
*Jacquard - 58 rows
*persons satin stitch (white) - 46 rows

Description of the backrest

* elastic - 20 rows
*persons smooth surface (coral) - 74 rows
*Jacquard - 10 rows
*persons satin stitch (white) - 70 rows

Once I get to the neckline, I’ll describe my steps.

01.03.2015

Before ready. Without the WTO, a square with jacquard is visible. The broaches are only where the jacquard is, there is none on the sides. To make it look better, it was probably necessary to do broaches along the entire canvas.
I made the neck like this:
I knitted the shoulder and closed off the middle loops. On both sides of the neck I closed 6 loops in each front row.

I will knit the sleeve from top to bottom. First I will sew the shoulders, and then I will take out 18 cm loops on each side (back and front).
To be continued.

04.03.2015

I knit two sweaters at once - for myself and for my daughter. This is an option with broaches throughout the entire canvas.
Now I started my front again. Report in three days.

Patterns for knitting women's pullover

Rubber. Even number of loops. Edge, alternately 1 knit, 1 purl, edge.

Facial surface. Front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.

Both jacquard patterns include: knit according counted stitch pattern with threads from different balls in Norwegian technology, while freely stretching the unused thread on the wrong side of the work. The diagrams show front and back rows.

Jacquard pattern A. The number of loops is a multiple of 6 + 1 + 2 edge loops = knit according to. counting pattern 1. Start with 1 edge, repeat the repeat all the time, finish with a loop after the repeat and 1 edge. Complete rows 1–22 once.

Jacquard pattern B. 1 rapport = 16 or 6 loops = knit according to. counting pattern 2, while distributing the pattern from the middle, i.e. The given rapport before and after the middle loop is constantly repeated in the outward direction; the middle loop does not apply to repeats. Perform rows 1–50 once.

Diamond pattern. 1 rapport = 36 loops = knit according to. scheme. It shows facial rows. In the purl rows, knit all the loops according to the pattern. Distribute loops according to instructions. Repeat rows 1–36 constantly.

Emphasized decreases. At the beginning of the edge row, knit 2 loops together with a slant to the left (slip 1 loop like a knit stitch, knit 1, then pull it through the removed loop); at the end of the row, knit up to 3 loops from the end, then knit 2 loops together with the front and edge stitches.

Knitting density. 17 p. x 20 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with jacquard patterns; 18.5 p. x 22 r. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with a diamond pattern.

Attention! For a rounded shape, before the raglan bevel on both sides of the middle, perform 3 cm = 6 shortened rows + 1 cm = 2 whole rows to raise the side edges. These shortened rows on the patterns of all parts are depicted in the form of a lateral rounding.

Description of knitting a women's pullover

Back. Using a light gray thread, cast on 104 (110) stitches on the knitting needles and for the placket, knit 7 cm = 15 rows with an elastic band, start with 1 purl row and in the last purl row in the middle add 1 p. = 105 (111) p. Then knit 12 cm = 22 rows with jacquard pattern A + 2 rows of stockinette stitch with dark gray thread, while for fitting, emphasize decrease on both sides in every 6th row from the bar 4 x 1 p. = 97 (103) p. In the 24th row from the bar, subtract 1 p. (add 1 p.) = 96 (104) p. Continue working with a pattern of diamonds, while distributing the loops as follows: start with 1 edge and the last 29 (33) p. rapport, perform repeat 1 once, finish the first 29 (33) stitches of rapport and 1 edge stitch.

At the same time, in the 3rd row of pattern 5, decrease 1 x 1 p. on both sides, then in every 4th row, decrease 10 x 1 p. and in the 46th row of pattern 5, decrease another 1 p. = 73 (81) p. .

For a rounded shape, after 21 cm = 46 rows from the beginning of knitting with a diamond pattern, continue working in stockinette stitch with dark gray thread in shortened rows, while starting with 1 front row: 15 (18) knit, turn with 1 yarn over, knit in the opposite direction, turn work, knit 10 (12), turn with 1 yarn over, knit in reverse direction, turn work, knit 5 (6), turn with 1 yarn over, knit in reverse direction, turn work, knit 1 row on all stitches, with In this case, knit the turning yarn overs with the next loop together. In the next purl row, purl 15 (18), turn with 1 yarn over, knit in the opposite direction, turn the work, purl 10 (12), turn with 1 yarn over, knit in the opposite direction, turn the work, 5 (6) purl, turn with 1 yarn over, knit in the opposite direction, turn the work. Then knit 1 purl row on all stitches, at the same time close 1 x 2 sts on both sides to start the raglan bevel and knit turning yarn overs with the next loop together purl = 69 (77) sts. Continue working with jacquard pattern B.

At the same time, it is emphasized to decrease for a raglan bevel on both sides * in the next 2nd row 1 x 1 p. and in every 4th row 2 x 1 p., from * repeat 4 more times.
