It contains a huge database of clothing from world brands, and almost any item can be bought, for each item there is a price and a link to the store (unfortunately, it is impossible to check all stores for the possibility of delivery to Russia).

Using Polyvore is not as difficult as it seems.

So, part one, introductory.

The main page looks like this:

First you need to register. To do this, click the button of the same name in the upper right corner or the “Login” button if you have an account. I log in via Facebook.

After you have registered, you can walk around the site and explore it. You can select categories, or you can view everything at once.

When you hover your cursor over any item from the set, the following information appears in a pop-up window: name, cost, address of the online store where you can buy it. There, the editor offers to like, look at other sets with this item and buy something from this category.

You can sort by color in any category.

In the search bar, you can enter the name of a clothing item, style or brand.

So, let's drag objects.

6. Pictures can be moved forward and backward as you wish.

Having pulled the jeans back, I discovered that the edge of the picture with the top was poorly processed:

Each picture has its own mini-editor; when you select an item of clothing, in the upper right corner you can select the parameters - transparent or opaque background, and change it there:

And thus, create your own set by dragging and editing clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, adding backgrounds and inscriptions:

The set can then be published. In the upper left corner, click the appropriate button and, if desired, fill out the following fields:
Name,
Description (in the form of hashtags),
Category (required)
and indicate whether to share the set on social networks:

After publishing your set in Polyvore, you can embed it into your blog. In the window that opens, you can choose the type in which your set will be published: just a picture, a picture with captions of used items, with images of used items, and so on. You can also select which items will be shown by removing and checking the boxes. You can also change the size of the image and attribute it to your blog, but only Tumblr, Blogger and Wordpress are available. Then copy the link from the bottom window and paste it in the desired place in your text.

We have selected several resources that work as online fitting rooms. They are located in random order, without ranking.

Dressing room Glamstorm.com

In fact, glamstorm.com is just a convenient toy: you can choose an inspiring background, a model of the desired height and build, choose her makeup and hairstyle and put together several sets, estimate possible combinations of typical mass-market items, prints, and shades. Tested: it helps when going shopping - you take leggings or immediately imagine what top will go with them.

The downside is that almost all of this wealth is available only after registering on the site, and some of it is only available after a premium subscription. An account will cost 3 euros. Another sad moment is that clothes and shoes in GlamStorm only seem to be available for purchase: the application has uploaded collections from 2015, which have long been sold out.

Fitting room Pavloposad shawls

No, we're serious: on the website Pavlovo shawls There is an online fitting room. As you might guess, since this is a service of one brand, you can only try on scarves here. The good news is that the number of scarves in the fitting room tends to infinity, and you can also upload your own photo. You can look at the option you like in the catalog and buy it.

Showroom fitting room

Actually, this is not exactly a fitting room: showroom.onvolga is a website of an organization that creates similar services for online stores. But for us mere mortals, several versions of fitting rooms are available: a smiling model (we select it only from those offered by the service) can be put on as business suit, or even try on hairstyles and jewelry. We especially liked the last one: well, when else can we put it on thirty year old man a crazy hat or a princess crown, so that he continues to smile calmly at us?

Fitting room Central optics

It’s easy to guess what they offer to try on in Central Optics. Upload your photo and put on either regular or . You can try on the frames for yourself, your husband, or your child - all glasses are divided into categories. A significant disadvantage is that there are very few frames to try on, and half of those that exist were outdated 5 years ago.

Ecco fitting room

Now all jokes aside: this is exactly what a virtual fitting room should be like in 2019, like the Ecco website. No crooked 2D models or dubious practicality - a completely individual approach and a clear goal. Shoe Ecco brand offers to select the shoes that perfectly suit you online.

To do this, you need to download the Ecco Fitting Room application to your smartphone and follow the short video instructions - the process of scanning your legs takes only a few minutes. After this, the application creates a visual 3D model of the leg, taking into account fullness, instep height and other measurements. You can try on any model from the brand’s catalog, and then order its delivery or go to the nearest store. The application is available on IOS and Android, supports family access - up to 6 people can use it at the same time.

Life is changing rapidly. Every day a lot of new technologies appear, and in mobile phone Now almost our whole life fits in.

Using mobile applications, you can easily call a taxi, set a table for twenty people in the middle of the night, order food to your home; pay for purchases; check the expiration date of the product; get a doctor's consultation and even check your horoscope compatibility with a new acquaintance!

Of course, like this important question, like a wardrobe, the developers did not ignore it. Today there are a lot of applications that will tell you how to dress for the weather or a specific occasion. They will not forget about the blouse that has fallen into the far corner of the closet, and they will remind you of it when you buy new jeans and are looking for something to wear them with.

Today we’ll talk about which mobile apps about clothes you should download to your phone.

1) Of course, first of all it is worth mentioning Polyvore.

We already wrote about this mobile application several years ago, and since then Polyvore has not lost any of its relevance. On the contrary, the application is gaining more and more fans, providing better functionality and even more freedom for creativity and self-expression.

The Polyvore app now not only contains fashionable images fashion bloggers and shopping lovers, it is happily used by graphic designers, interior designers and creative individuals to create mood boards. Add magazine and book covers, architectural objects, posters; create your own headlines and inspirational captions.

The application is ideal for creating illustrations for a fashion blog, for inspiration and finding ideas.

2) Pinterest

This is not just an application. Pinterest is a modern Bible of inspiration and an inexhaustible source of ideas.

According to Wikipedia: “Pinterest is a social Internet service and photo hosting site that allows users to add images online and place them in thematic collections and share them with other users.” If you run your own Instagram profile or blog, then this is the easiest place to get ideas for photos, but also don’t be lazy to post your own images here, thus increasing traffic to your page.

One of the best news for fashionistas is that Pinterest has launched a visual image recognition service. That is, very soon it will be possible to simply take a photo of an image you like in a window or on a passerby - and Pinterest will tell you where you can find/buy similar things.

3) Size converter

A handy thing when you often travel abroad and raid stores at the request of friends. With the help of a converter, it is easier to choose clothes for a child and not make a mistake with your own size in a different size chart.

There are several applications, and they all have approximately similar functionality. Choose the one you like the interface. We liked the simple and straightforward (iOS).

4) GoodLook: helps you create outfits based on today’s weather.

The application is a feed of collages with fashionable sets. There is also an “Inspiration” tab with pictures from the Instagram profiles of popular trendsetters and bloggers.

When you click on the item you like from the suggested image, you will be taken to a page where you can buy it. In general, the application is rather disappointing due to the uniformity and predictability of combinations, as well as the impossibility of creating your own sets. However, if you like to save time on purchases, then you will like the opportunity to immediately buy the item you like on the store’s website.

5) And the most interesting, in our opinion, and useful application that can really help with organizing your wardrobe is the LookBook application.

Using this program, you can photograph and organize all your clothes, divide them into categories and create different looks for a particular occasion.

All resulting collages can be stored directly in the application, can be saved as images and printed, and can also be shared with friends and family.

The same application will be useful if you sell your clothes in Shafe: the item for sale can be supplemented with an illustration with ready-made stylistic solutions.

What applications do you use? Share with us in the comments, and we will definitely tell you about them in the next reviews!
