Denis Simachev brought T-shirts into a separate fashion column - bright, colorful, with explicit inscriptions in Russian and understandable, for the most part, only to Russian people. They immediately attract the attention of others, so wearing a T-shirt from the Denis Simachеv brand is impossible to go unnoticed.

Bar and boutique

The Russian designer's clothes and shoes became so famous among fashionistas that he came up with the idea of opening a boutique to sell his brand's products - a so-called mono-brand store. In this case, it was also decided to act unusually and combine a boutique with a bar. So, in a common building, one floor, the first, was occupied by a bar, and the second by a store.

This location led to the store large quantity customers who, after shopping, settled down at a table in a cozy cafe. Here, gourmet dishes are created with taste and served in a fusion style, which attracts even discerning gourmets. Thanks to the efforts of the entire team and Simachev himself, both establishments quickly became popular.

DENIS SIMACHEV, one of the most successful Russian designers, in an interview with his close friend Ksenia Sobchak.

Denis Simachev - about why he got married, whether Mikhail Prokhorov helps him with money and why he loses 30 million euros every month

First of all, I want to talk to you about business. It seems to me that this is only possible in our country, for a bar to bring in more money than a boutique or design business...

I want to correct you. Initially, BAR DENIS SIMACHЁV was conceived as a promotional store. I reasoned like this: we’ll pour alcohol, serve delicious food, and then drag the client upstairs to the boutique. When we first opened the bar, we paid extra for visitors - for example, for every client check of one hundred rubles, we subsidized our fifty. This went on for four months, then we slowly reduced the “subsidies”, and then completely reduced them to zero. And by the way, I can’t say that the bar earns more than the store - they are on par. I look at the bar and boutique revenue so I know. ( Smiling.)

Everyone who understands economics says that there is no profitable design business in Russia today. Money, mostly sponsorship, is somehow found, but the business itself does not bring profit.

But the fashion industry exists in the West, and people make money from it. I found out how it works there and proposed this scheme here. This is how my business actually started.

Tell in details.

In the West, the amount you invest in PR is the amount you earn - plus talent, of course. But we generally believe that if you created a collection and staged a show, people should immediately come running to you and buy something... In reality, everything is more complicated. And the point is that you don’t get the money right away. After the show, you have to take the things to the showroom and wait for the buyer to arrive, receive the order, place it in production, produce it, and so on... At the same time, in the West it is important what journalists say about you after the show, but here everyone cares about this part I don't care about programs. In the West, the buyer focuses on publications in the press. For example, during fashion week, he wakes up in the morning in a hotel, reads in the newspaper that one of the designers is now in favor, and decides for himself: I will go to this showroom, but not to this one. The opinion of a journalist is law for a Western buyer. He will not risk his budget and buy, for example, Versace, if the brand is not in trend this season.

Another paradox: people selling fake DENIS SIMACHЁV earn an order of magnitude more than you.

By a hundred orders of magnitude.

I have seen these fakes: without looking at them, it is impossible to distinguish them from the real ones. If you sold your clothes at normal prices, all that money would be yours.

Yes, but think about why they fake me.

Because it's fashionable.

And it’s fashionable because it’s expensive and inaccessible. Once you enter every home with your own available product, you stop being interesting. You are turning from luxury to mass market. The ending of this sad story is known.

There is some hypocrisy in this. Not only from your side. The company may be two years old, but there are so many show-offs, as if it were the House of Chanel with almost a hundred years of history. When I go to the same Dries van Noten's store, I understand why it costs so much. A huge business, multimillion-dollar investments, history... And when our designers set such prices...

Let me explain to you. If a person is used to buying a jacket for 300 euros, then he will buy it from both Dries van Noten and the little-known Vasya Pupkin, the main thing is that he is hooked by the idea. The price is not suspicious if the client is used to it. And maybe a jacket for 100 euros would have greatly alarmed him. And with pricing, everything is simple: the manufacturing factories for all brands are approximately the same, and I place an order, for example, for shirts in the same place as Dries Van Noten, Etro, and Burberry. So the price is the same as those of these respected brands, only they have a larger advertising budget. It was psychologically difficult for me to open a store on this street (the DENIS SIMACHЁV boutique is located on Stoleshnikov Lane. - Note OK!). I understood that next to me were the mastodons of the fashion industry: Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Cartier are very serious neighbors. And I decided: since I can’t compete with them, I’ll be a hooligan. So it turned out daringly, a little naively: Khokhloma on the facade, a bar under the store, the interior doesn’t understand what it is, as if everything was brought from a garbage dump - it seems like I understand my level, so I treat myself and my neighbors on this street ironically. ( Smiling.)

Many said that you opened the store with Abramovich’s money.

Of course they did.

Is this true?

When you don’t know what to say, you can form a theory from any detail. And my acquaintance with Abramovich immediately grew into philanthropy.

Well, there is nothing shameful about philanthropy.

It's not a matter of shame. It's just illogical. A serious businessman would not...

Sometimes serious businessmen do weird things - they start a kind of business for the soul.

I don’t believe that Roman Arkadyevich is weird in business.

Does anyone sponsor you?

They are talking about Prokhorov.

Is this true? You are communcating?

Of course we communicate. I communicate with a lot of people from the business elite, but this does not mean that they invest their capital in me. I have financial partners who are well-known in this circle. And the rumors, you need to understand, arise from the fact that the crowd does not know examples of a stable European fashion business in Russia. So they got it into their heads that designers can’t do without sponsors, and since I Russian designer, which means it must act according to the same scheme. Sorry, but that's not true. And it’s unlikely that I will work according to the rules accepted here. I have never taken part in any fights.

You're not gay yet...

Yes, this upsets many people. Let me tell you: in the fashion world, without this piquant trait, it is difficult to build bridges.

Are you falling in love?

Constantly, this is my weakness. They revolve around me beautiful people, but the state of falling in love for me is not a feeling for a specific person, it is an artist’s love for everything beautiful.

How does the wife feel about this?

Somehow he puts up with this and continues to remain a mystery to me.

Does she accept you for who you are?

I think so, although it will probably be difficult.

You are not Julia. I'm not just a journalist. I won’t name names, but I have two friends who talked about you with such aspiration... For me, you are a fashionable, cool guy. Very talented, moderately silent, interesting, well-mannered. But it turns out that you are also a fatal man who breaks hearts...

It's nice to hear, of course, but it's hard for me to comment on it. ( Smiling.)

Do you fall in love with models?

What kind of women do you like?

Well-mannered.

What about the appearance?

Appearance is secondary. It is important that the person has something to say.

Why did you get married?

Wife, children, family are the basis. All these acquaintances you are talking about are my creative environment. And it so happened that I have it very pleasant and beautiful.

Could you leave your family?

No, I can't imagine it. Family is unshakable for me. It is impossible for those around me to get into this niche of my life.

You know, it’s strange to me: you’re a public person, but no one knows what your wife looks like. Even me! Nobody saw her. Some kind of mythical creature...

For you she is a mythical creature, but for me a real man, second half. You know how aggressive society can be towards those who are famous. I would not like my life to be discussed. I don’t need people to take pictures of my house or communicate with my relatives.

The ability to dance is a real trend today. Dancing is an indispensable attribute healthy image life, mobility and self-confidence. So it is not surprising that many parents enroll their children in specialized courses from early childhood.

Many call Yegor Simachev a mentor by nature. The biography of this man is interesting to many, but he prefers not to stick out personal things. What can you find out about this ballet dancer?

Who is he?

So, who is Yegor Simachev? The biography of this artist is little known. He was born in Moscow, and his creative path was practically predetermined, since his family are ballet dancers. In 1995, Simachev graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, where he studied with a teacher. After that, he was accepted into the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Theater.

I started working on a contract basis only in 2017. By this time, the artist had established himself as a professional and even managed to appear in the world of show business.

Repertoire

Since 1998, Egor Simachev began to develop in his profession. His biography began with the role of Signor Tomato in the production of "Cipollino" by Khachaturian. A year later there was Sleeping in Shchedrin's The Little Humpbacked Horse. Afterwards he danced the mazurka and krakowiak in the film "Polish Ball" in the opera "Ivan Susanin". Was in the guise of a village notary in "Vain Precaution" by the Herald. The year 2003 was successful in the field of work, when Simachev became Gavrilych in Shostakovich's "Bright Stream", Pyotr Leontyevich in "Anyuta" to the music of Gavrilin and, finally, Lorenzo in Minkus' "Don Quixote". Next year, luck in work again - Galifron in Tchaikovsky's "Sleeping Beauty", the postmaster in "Ward No. 6" to the music of Pärt, Milyaga in "The Dream in summer night"to the music of Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. Moreover, in the last work he became the first performer at the Bolshoi Theater.

Then there was a time of calm, which, nevertheless, was productive. These are the Nepmen in Shostakovich's "Golden Age", eunuchs in Adan's "Corsair" (and Simachev was also one of the first to perform this ballet). Finally, David in Asafiev's "Flames of Paris", the Old Musician in "La Sylphide" and Quasimodo in "Esmeralda". After Camusot in "Lost Illusions", Bart Boromeo in "Marco Spada" and the shareholder in "Lady of the Camellias" to the music of Chopin.

A new step in development

Egor Simachev has a lot of professional experience behind him. His biography makes a good impression on all those who are interested and important in ballet. Therefore, it is not surprising that many people want to have such a professional as a teacher for their children.

Yegor Simachev's ballet workshop is a success. Children from one to 11 years old are brought here. Bolshoi Theater ballerinas work with students. Classes are not very long - one academic hour. During this time, teachers pass on their skills to beginners, teach them how to do pirouettes and fouettés, not forgetting about getting to know the traditions of the Russian ballet school.

Children are divided into groups depending on age from 1.5 to 3 years, from 4 to 6, from 6 to 8 and from 8 to 11. Of course, when dividing, the level of training, physical fitness and general capabilities of the child are important. The training is structured so as not to harm the child. Of course, classes take place without the extreme rigor that is present in adult ballet classes.

For extra

A very interesting and versatile person is choreographer Egor Simachev. The biography of this person is rich in events, and therefore it is logical that the workshop has additional services. For example, ballet lessons in French and English languages. Basic knowledge of the language is not required, but pre-registration is required. You can sign up for a trial lesson or immediately take a subscription. During the lessons, the child is taught grace and the art of improvisation.

Classes include stretching, musical rhythm, choreography and ballet exercise. Even if after such a course the child does not become a theater star, he will be competently and harmoniously developed physically. Speaks in favor of the workshop as a large number of graduates, and an abundance of awards, including the quality mark “The Best for Children” and an honorary diploma “For making a special contribution to the preservation of Slavic values.”

Why is it worth coming?

Firstly, people come here because of the name of the founder, since Yegor Simachev symbolizes ballet. The biography of this artist, luminary, is impressive. He performs many solo and character roles. In addition, he is the heir to a famous and respected ballet dynasty, who simply cannot afford to do anything wrong. He approaches the choice of teachers for the school, creative and organizational issues, and the wishes of studio visitors with extreme pedantry. Each client can express his opinion personally to Egor and receive a response.

Secondly, the studio is taught by professional choreographers and ballerinas from the Bolshoi Theater and the Igor Moiseev Ensemble. They teach not only to repeat movements, but to penetrate into the very essence of dance, to absorb the special culture of ballet.

Thirdly, they care about the health of children, and the teaching methodology is aimed at eliminating and preventing problems of the musculoskeletal system.

Additional hobbies

Why is Yegor Simachev so interesting to people? The biography, personal life and hobbies of this person evoke associations not only with ballet, but with literature and even the world of show business. It turns out that the artist has two books to his credit. One of them is “Vampires, or Blood-Sucking Corpses.” The second is "Mystical Paris. In the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci."

Simachev wrote about vampires in collaboration with Gleb Angry and Alexander Biryukov. The book received very mixed reviews. Still, it is very small in number of pages, and the font is large. The story is drawn out in places. There are digressions that are not entirely on topic. But there is an interesting historical note about Dracula, as well as the history of the writing and production of Frankenstein's Monster. Lots of rumors and lots of facts about everything from Vlad the Impaler to Van Helsing.

The book about mystical Paris is reminiscent of Dan Brown's novel "The Da Vinci Code" not only in its mood, but also in its presence in the plot, where legions of curious tourists travel to France to touch the secrets.

About personal

The popularity increased when choreographer Yegor Simachev decided to settle down. He never tried to advertise his biography and personal life, but it became difficult to hide when the world learned about his affair with the daughter of Rodion Nakhapetov and Vera Glagoleva. Anna was born into a family of Soviet actors, entered the Leningrad Choreographic School early, and three years later moved to the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. In 2006, the actress and ballerina married a Bolshoi Theater colleague, Yegor Simachev. Before the wedding, the couple lived together for several years. From Yegor, Anna had a daughter, Polina, but the child did not save the family union.

The ex-spouses cited domestic disagreements as the reason for the separation. However, they did not become enemies and now support friendly relations. Egor spends a lot of time with his daughter. After his divorce from Anna, the artist married again, and also to a colleague. In this marriage, Simachev has three children.

Sad occasion

Most often, the biography and personal life of actor Yegor Simachev remain shrouded in mystery, but recently there has been some deviation from the rules. The choreographer wrote a frank letter, telling the details of the illness of his former mother-in-law, Vera Glagoleva. It turned out that during quarrels between the ex-spouses, Glagoleva often took the side of her son-in-law and their relationship was very warm. Yegor wrote that he valued this maternal attitude and care, and often called his mother-in-law his second mother.

Simacheva and Glagoleva were united by a terrible disease - oncology. They learned about the disease almost at the same time and shared all the hardships. Simachev was lucky, he pulled out. But Glagoleva left. Egor wrote words of support to Vera Glagoleva’s husband and all family members.
