Origami paper helicopter diagram. Master class on manual labor. Paper construction “Helicopter. What to do if the helicopter does not fly

You can diversify your leisure time and entertain your child at home, on the road, or at a party by building a model. Using the kirigami technique to create flying models, a paper helicopter can be made in a few minutes, and it will certainly bring joy. What is Kirigami? This is a type of origami technique that allows the use of cutting tools: scissors, knives, blades. How to make a helicopter out of paper with your own hands?

Prepare paper and scissors

To work, you must prepare the following materials and tools in advance: a rectangular sheet of paper, a ruler and pencil, scissors and a paper clip big size. The density and quality of paper for a flying helicopter model is selected depending on the desired size of the helicopter. A larger propeller requires denser material.

How to make a helicopter out of paper. Step-by-step instruction

Step 1. From a sheet of paper you need to cut a strip of paper 3-4 centimeters wide.

Step 2. By folding, divide the strip in half. From the side of the free ends, we cut a strip in length approximately to the middle. It is necessary to retreat about five millimeters from the cut and draw a transverse line. From each edge of the strip of paper along this line we make centimeter cuts.

Step 3. We place the helicopter blank in front of us with cuts on the left. Then the base of the flying toy will be on the right, the left part will become the blades. At the base you need to draw two horizontal lines, one centimeter away from the edges, and fold the paper inward along these lines.

Step 4. To correctly position the helicopter’s center of gravity and improve its flight properties, bend the lower edge of the base upward and secure the fold with a paper clip.

Step 5. Having bent the blades of the flying toy in opposite directions, we install them perpendicular to the base.

The step-by-step instructions are so simple that even a child will understand how to make a helicopter out of paper. After finishing the work, we clean up workplace and we begin testing the aircraft. To do this, lift the helicopter up, release it, slightly pushing it forward. If everything is done correctly, the helicopter, circling smoothly, will fall down.

To create a simpler model of a mini-helicopter, you will need a match. We make the blades using the method described above. We split the match to the middle, carefully insert the propeller blades into it, and bend them in opposite directions. The helicopter is ready for testing.

Another way to make a paper flying helicopter

How to make a helicopter out of paper in another way, we will look at following instructions. It is necessary to cut out a rectangle from paper with sides of 8 and 7 centimeters. Stepping back two centimeters on each side, you need to cut wings one and a half centimeters wide. The rectangle is glued together to form a cylinder, and the wings are folded back. To strengthen the center of gravity, a piece of plasticine is attached to the nose of the helicopter. After this, we can assume that another toy is ready.

Progress of step-by-step work.

Making an airplane from colored paper.

Cut 3 strips, 2 cm wide for the main parts of the aircraft and several strips 1 and 0.3 cm wide for decorating the parts of the aircraft.

Glue the edges of one wide strip to form an oval. Cut the other strip in half, fold it into unequal parts and press along the fold. Then fold these strips into unequal parts on the other side to form two folds at a distance of 0.3 or 0.5 cm.

Cut corners off airplane wing parts. Press the oval at a distance of 2/3 of the length of the oval and glue the sides of the oval to each other.

Make two folds 0.5cm apart on the tail of the plane. Glue the stripes decorating the wings and base of the plane.

Glue the wings to the base of the plane.

Make airplane wheels from 3x1cm strips.

Glue the wheels to the back of the plane.

Decorate the plane with triangles and other figures left over from cutting out the plane parts. The plane is ready.

Making a helicopter from colored paper.

Prepare parts for a helicopter in the same way as airplane parts. Make an oval from a 20cmx2cm strip. Let's make the tail of the helicopter, as shown in the photo. Cut and round the edges of 4 strips 3x0.5mi and 2x0.3cm. Fold the edges of one strip different sizes. An airplane can also be made from these parts. We will make wings for the airplane, as shown in the photo.

We will paste a blue stripe, 0.5 cm wide, to decorate the main parts of the helicopter. To decorate the propellers, cut out strips with rounded edges half the size of the propeller blades.

Let's glue the wings for the airplane, as shown in the photo.

For a helicopter: glue two yellow strips with curved edges to attach the propellers. We glue the propeller blades at one point, as shown in the photo. Let's make the sides from 7x2cm rectangles, bending the edges for gluing 0.5cm. Decorate the sides with strips of blue paper.

Let's glue the sides and wheels to the helicopter.

Our helicopter is ready.

This is what our colored paper crafts look like: an airplane and a helicopter.

Adviсe.
1. It is better to make the main parts of an airplane and helicopter from thick colored paper, and make decorations from paper of regular thickness.
2. It is better to fasten the main parts with PVA or “Moment” glue for more thorough fastening.
Thank you for your attention. I look forward to your feedback.

Children love to play with various models of technology - cars, planes, helicopters. And a helicopter made with your own hands from paper will not only become your favorite toy, but will certainly be a legitimate reason for pride. There are many techniques for making a helicopter out of paper - this includes origami and paper models of helicopters that completely replicate real flying cars. In any case, you won’t need a paper helicopter to make this craft. expensive materials and great skills, and the choice of technique for its production is determined by the age of the child and the amount of free time.

Paper helicopter using origami technique

We will need:

  • A4 sheet of paper;
  • ruler.

Manufacturing:

  1. Divide a sheet of paper into a square and a rectangle, bending the corner. The square part will be used to make the fuselage, and the rectangular part will be used for the propeller.
  2. Take the square part and bend it in half and diagonally. Let's mark the inflection lines.
  3. Let's make a triangle out of the square, putting the sides inside.
  4. Bend the side corners of the triangle towards the center.
  5. Bend the side corner to the vertical axis.
  6. Bend the upper part of the right petal to the right, marking the inflection line.
  7. We straighten the corner and fold it down.
  8. Bend the folded corner to the right.
  9. Let's tuck the corner into the formed valve.
  10. Let's repeat all these operations for the second corner.
  11. Let's turn the workpiece over to the other side and perform the same operations of folding and tucking the petals.
  12. We inflate the workpiece through the hole, resulting in a cube.
  13. Using a ruler, press down the top edge of the cube and fold it inward.
  14. Let's connect the top edges of the cube together and get the fuselage.
  15. For the screw, take the remaining rectangle and bend it in half lengthwise.
  16. Fold the resulting strip in half across. Fold over the top and fold it in half again. Then we divide into two more parts those quarters of the sheet that are adjacent to the center.
  17. Bend the blades in different directions - the propeller is ready.
  18. Let's bend the corners of the fuselage in different directions.
  19. Insert the screw into the resulting slot. Our helicopter is ready to fly.

Paper helicopter using kirigami technique

We will need:

  • strip of paper;
  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • scissors;
  • clip.

Manufacturing:

Bend the propeller blades so that they are perpendicular to the fuselage. The helicopter is ready for launch.

Paper model of a helicopter

This is perhaps the most labor-intensive option for making a helicopter out of paper. As a result, we will get a beautiful bright paper model of a helicopter that will not be able to fly, but will become a good gift dad, grandfather or older brother.

If you want to spend productive time with your child, then paper origami is a great option. If you have a girl, you can make flowers and various animals with her. But if you have a son, then you definitely need to know how to make a helicopter out of paper. Any boy will be interested in designing such a toy together with his parents.

What materials are needed

If you are interested in how to make a helicopter out of paper that flies, then you need to purchase special materials for its manufacture. This:

  • Thick paper. You can buy multi-colored sheets of A4 size, and then choose paper of a suitable color with your child. Usually just one sheet is enough to make a helicopter. If you can’t buy cardboard, you can use regular paper.
  • Clip. With its help the lower part of the toy will be held. Under no circumstances should you glue parts together, as this will prevent the helicopter from flying.
  • Pencil. It should be used to outline all the details. By the way, a regular pen may also work.

Dimensions of the future toy

Many people are interested in how to make a helicopter out of paper, for which only one sheet of paper would be enough. Of course, in that case paper toy will be very small. If you want to make it big, then you need to take whatman paper. However, it is best to do small helicopters with a child. If necessary, the A4 sheet needs to be shortened. You should end up with a rectangle measuring 3 cm wide and 14 cm long.

How to draw details

How to make a paper helicopter with your own hands? Yes, very simple. But first you need to prepare all its parts, which will later be fastened together. The main part is prepared as follows: you need to draw a line in the center of the sheet along the length and width, you will get two intersecting lines. It is these stripes that will indicate cuts and folds. Using them it will be easy to understand how to make a helicopter out of paper. In principle, you can do without it, but it will be much easier.

Paper folding

After this, fold the paper in half. It needs to be cut to the middle of the formed fold. The result will be two wings, which will later become the wings of the helicopter. If you don’t yet know how to make origami out of paper (helicopters, in particular), then you need to act very carefully. It must be remembered that paper is a very delicate material, so you need to work with it very carefully.

Final stages of work

Now you need to cut the sheet in two parts along the length of the paper. These cuts should be located cm below the first slits. After this, it is necessary to fold both lower sections towards the center, creating helicopter flaps. The central fold should be divided into two folds, which form the lower section of the toy. For secure fixation, you must use a paper clip. In addition, it will add a little weight to the toy, due to which the helicopter will not fly to the side due to the slightest gusts. It is not recommended to lubricate parts with glue, as this may prevent the device from flying. Then you can straighten the upper part (wings), after which the outline of the helicopter will be visible. Now you know how to make a helicopter out of paper. But that is not all. You need to check if it flies. If this does not happen, then something was done incorrectly.

However, not everyone is able to create a helicopter using this method. Therefore, you can use more simple option. Many people are interested in how to make a helicopter out of paper, the diagram of which is already available in finished form. In this case, you just need to take the template, the photo of which is located just below, after which you need to transfer it to paper and cut it out. Where the dotted line is shown, the paper should be folded. This will make a good helicopter, but its creation is much faster.

What to do if the helicopter does not fly

If the helicopter does not fly, then it is unlikely to be corrected. The only option is to make a new one. But before you start creating it, you need to determine why the first toy did not fly. When a helicopter flies, it is pushed by air in the opposite direction, so the blades begin to move up and down. It is for this purpose that the spinner consists of two blades, each of which should receive the same push in different directions. This is what makes the toy fly. If this does not happen, then the toy was created incorrectly. Therefore, you need to determine what exactly is wrong with it.

Perhaps the wings turned out to be different sizes, so one of the sides receives a greater load, which is why the helicopter is pulled down. As a rule, it falls on one side. If the rotor blades are of different sizes, then it will not spin, so the helicopter will fall vertically. It may also fail to fly due to the fact that glue was used during the work process. The parts glued together will have a smaller area of contact with the air, so this will pull the toy down. But even the worst helicopter can fly if you take it outside in windy weather.

Now you have learned how you can make a helicopter at home with your child. Of course, the baby should only participate in the work, and all the main stages rest on the shoulders of the adult. If you entrust all the work to a child, the device is unlikely to fly, which is why he will be upset.
