The admission campaign will begin soon. Are there any changes to the university admission procedure this year?

A special feature of this academic year for graduates was the division of the Unified State Examination in mathematics into basic and specialized levels. If mathematics is included in the list of entrance examinations of a university for any direction, then it must be mathematics at a specialized level, the minimum passing score for which is 27.

It is also important that you only need to pass the Unified State Exam in Russian with 24 points to get a certificate, but to enter a university you need to score at least 36 points.

Another important innovation is that universities have the opportunity to assign points for the individual achievements of applicants during admission. In addition to the total points on the Unified State Exam, you can get a maximum of 20 points. Additional points for individual achievements significantly increase the applicant's chances of admission.

Of these twenty points, a maximum of 10 can be obtained for an essay that graduates have already written in schools. The university rechecks the essay and assigns its own grade (evaluation criteria are developed at the federal level).

The second 10 points can be awarded for sports achievements, participation in the volunteer movement, and academic achievements. For what exactly and how many points - each university decides independently, but the same rule for all is that the sum of all these achievements cannot exceed 10 points, even if the applicant has sports victories, a certificate with honors, and a prize-winning place at the Olympiad. In this case, he selects those achievements that are most highly valued in this educational institution.

How can I find out what exactly a particular university awards points for, and how can I provide evidence of my achievements?

All information about recording individual achievements must be posted on the university website as a separate document. When submitting documents, the applicant must indicate his achievements in the application for admission and present diplomas, certificates, etc. confirming them. As for the essay, the university commission takes it from the federal information system.

An applicant can apply to several universities at once. How many educational institutions and how many specialties can you enroll in in 2015?

There are no changes here: 5 universities, three areas of training in each. At the same time, enrollment, as before, is based on priorities - each applicant who indicates several areas of training must rank them from the most interesting to the least interesting. Documents can be submitted to universities either in person or by mail, or through an online application if educational institutions are located in other cities. When sending by mail, take into account the time: documents must arrive at the selection committee no later than July 24.

What is the enrollment pattern for 2015? What changed?

Traditionally, applicants for budget-funded places are enrolled in two stages, and this year these stages received quantitative confirmation. Applicants are enrolled in the first wave for 80% of the total number of budget places, in the second - 20%. As before, only those who submit original documents to the admissions committee are accepted. But if previously applicants who did not bring the originals in the first wave might not get into the second, since there were no places left, then this year there will definitely be 20% of the places.

However, it is very important for the applicant to correctly navigate where to submit the original certificate. We advise you to set your priorities in advance and decide on the choice of university. If you have high scores on the Unified State Exam and you understand that you have every chance of getting into the first wave of a particular university, we advise you to immediately submit original documents there so as not to miss your budget place.

If you do not do this, your place may be taken by an applicant with lower scores, and there will not be enough places for everyone in the second wave.

Have the deadlines for submitting documents and enrollment changed this year?

Yes, in 2015, admission of documents begins at all universities on June 19 and ends on July 24 for the first wave of applicants. A common deadline for accepting original documents has been established for all universities: strictly 18.00 on August 3. This applies to admission to budget places, and for tuition on a paid basis, the terms of enrollment are set by the decision of the organization. As a rule, this is the 20th of August.

Do universities increase the minimum Unified State Exam scores set by Rosobrnadzor?

Each university decides this for itself: we have the right to increase the minimum scores relative to the Ros-obrnadzor scale, but we cannot lower them. In a number of educational institutions, these scales coincide, but many universities set their own minimum: for example, 30 points in mathematics instead of 27, 40 in Russian (the Rosobrnadzor minimum is 36) and so on.

In 2015, did the number of budget places for applicants decrease?

As statistics show, in many universities the number of budget places, on the contrary, has increased. I would like to note that budget places are also available for distance learning.

Another interesting point: today it is possible to study for free even at commercial universities. Educational establishments We have developed benefits for successful applicants: with a high score on the unified state exams, the student is given a 100% discount on the first semester, and with excellent results in all sessions, you can not pay for studies for the entire period of study.

Is it true that you can now enter a university only based on the results of the Unified State Exam? That is, people who graduated from school before 2009 will have to take the unified state exam?

Yes, indeed, persons who have only a general secondary education can enter a university (both full-time and part-time) only on the basis of the Unified State Examination results. In this case, the year of graduation does not matter.

We wish future graduates success in passing the Unified State Exam and admission to the university of their choice!

What will you get extra points for?

10 points- maximum for individual achievements:

  • silver/gold TRP badge
  • secondary school certificate general education Honours
  • participation/winning places in Olympiads, etc.
  • volunteer activities
  • status of champion and prize-winner of the Olympic, Paralympic and Deaf Olympic Games, etc.

10 points- maximum grade for the final essay written in the final year of school. An essay written at school will be rechecked by a university commission and evaluated in accordance with federal criteria.

A total of 20 points can be obtained in addition to the total points on the Unified State Exam.

Admission dates 2015

  • July 19-24 - acceptance of documents.
  • 18.00 On August 3, the acceptance of original certificates ends.
  • August 4 - order to enroll the first wave.
  • 18.00 On August 6, the acceptance of original documents for the second wave ends.
  • August 7 - order to enroll the second wave.

You can create your profile in the system Express Entry only if you qualify for one of Canada's federal immigration programs.

Applicants accepted by the system into the Express Entry database (EE pool) are assessed through the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which automatically provides scores based on the following indicators:

  • Core human capital factors – age, education, language
  • Basic human factors of the accompanying spouse, if any
  • Combined factors (Skill transferability factors) - several combinations of age with work experience and language skills
  • Additional points for provincial nomination, employment contract with a Canadian employer or study in Canada.

Approximately twice a month, the Government of Canada selects candidates from highest scores who receive an invitation to apply for a residence permit in Canada (Invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence). Therefore, it is very important to make every effort to get the maximum possible number of points for yourself, because your chances of immigrating to Canada literally increase with every point. You can use our Express Entry Points Calculator to see exactly how your points stack up and where you can improve them.

How to Improve Core Human Capital Factors

The advanced CRS scoring system can award up to 600 points for basic human factors and transferability skills, which take into account data such as a candidate's age, education, language and work experience.

If you take steps to improve your human factors, you can earn extra CRS points, which are never a bad thing. These could be the following actions:

  • Independent acquisition of an academic degree, diploma, certificate
  • Obtaining an academic degree, certificate diploma by the accompanying spouse
  • Improving your language skills (English and/or French), retaking the language test
  • Improving language skills (English and/or French), retaking the language test with the accompanying spouse
  • Additional work experience
  • Additional work experience for an accompanying spouse

The most profitable way to increase your CRS points is to receive a nomination from a Canadian province. This will immediately give you an additional 600 points to your existing ones. Yes, without these points people also receive their invitations to submit documents, however, we can say with all confidence that with them you will receive your invitation in the next selection.

Provincial nominations are the shortest route to permanent residence in Canada.

The Canadian federal government allows provinces and territories to select their own immigrants. Today there are 10 provinces and three territories in Canada. With the exception of the province of Quebec and the territory of Nunavut, they all have their own Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), which allow them to nominate candidates who want to immigrate to Canada and agree to live in a specific province.

Each Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is tailored to the needs of a specific province or territory and invites immigrants who will find it easier to establish a life in that region and who will benefit it most.

Most Canadian provincial programs are clearly linked to the federal Express Entry immigration selection system. Express Entry candidates who are nominated by a province or territory receive an additional 600 CRS points out of a maximum possible 1,200. When added to the existing core human factors and skills transferability points, an invitation to apply in the next round is virtually guaranteed.

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) that provide 600 CRS in Express Entry:

  • British Columbia/British Columbia PNP ()
  • Manitoba/Manitoba PNP ()
  • Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program ()
  • Ontario Immigration Nominee Program ()
  • New Brunswick/New Brunswick PNP (

New pension reform passed quite recently. The basis was the Law on Pensions No. 400-FZ that came into force. One of the goals of this innovation is to simplify the accounting of citizens' pension rights. For convenience, a new value has been introduced. It became the basis for all calculations of the insurance pension.

What are pension points

Pension points are conventional units that measure all the accumulated rights of citizens to. Legislatively they are called individual pension coefficients or abbreviated IPC:

IPCs are necessary not only for calculations, but also for determining eligibility for a pension. A restriction has been introduced on the minimum number of accumulated coefficients. If, upon reaching them, there are not enough of them, then the appointment will be denied.

What to do if there are not enough points to grant a pension? How to earn them or save them in advance? To do this, you need to know how they are calculated and choose the appropriate method for yourself.

How pension points are calculated

The definition is quite confusing, but you can understand the essence. They include insurance premiums and incentives for temporarily refusing to apply for a pension. In reality, the formation of points occurs not only due to these parameters. After all, the concept of pension points was introduced not so long ago. What about Soviet experience?

Let's consider all the ways that allow you to accumulate and increase pension points for future pension. They have their own characteristics, but at the same time they are accessible to every person.

Due to insurance premiums

Currently, this is the main criterion for increasing the IPC. All insurance premiums for the period of your official employment are converted into points. They are accrued only from the “white” salary.

At the end of each year, the Pension Fund converts the rubles paid into points. This approach allows you to protect money from depreciation and return it to the pensioner upon retirement.

The formula is simple: IPCi = (SVyear,i / SVyear,i) x 10.
IPCi are your pension coefficients. To calculate them, your accumulated insurance premiums for the year are divided by the standard amount of contributions for the same year and multiplied by 10. For ease of calculation, use the table:

YearNSVyear,i, rub
2018 163360
2017 140160
2016 127360
2015 113760

Example 1. In 2018, Alexey Petrovich earned 625,000 rubles. This means his employer paid 100,000 rubles in contributions to the Pension Fund account insurance part(625000*16%). Substituting the data into the formula, we get IPC 6.121.

According to the Law, today you can buy pension points and length of service. This may be necessary if there are no minimum requirements for appointment. To do this, you need to contact the nearest Pension Fund office.

Taking into account bonus coefficients

For delayed exit PFR pension establishes bonus increasing coefficients. They do not accumulate, unlike insurance premiums, but multiply total number accumulated points. Therefore, the amount of monthly payments increases.

The time period from the date of entitlement is calculated in years. To obtain this opportunity, you must delay your exit for at least one year. In this case, for a regular old-age pension overall size pension points will be multiplied by 1.07. All possible options can be seen in the table.

Period from the date of entitlement to pension (years) Increase factor for ordinary pensions Increase factor for early pensions
1 1,07 1,046
2 1,15 1,1
3 1,24 1,16
4 1,34 1,22
5 1,45 1,29
6 1,59 1,37
7 1,74 1,45
8 1,9 1,52
9 2,09 1,6
10 2,32 1,68

Example 2. When released in 2018 early retirement three years later, the pensioner had accumulated 145 points. The payment will be increased by 16% and will not be 11,816.05 rubles (145*81.49), but 13,706 rubles (145*1.16*81.49).

The pleasure from such an increase is very doubtful. After all, the pensioner in this case could receive monthly amounts throughout the year. Taking into account the average amount of old-age payments in 2018 is 14,151 rubles, for the year it comes out to a quite impressive amount of 169,812 rubles.

On the other hand, such an increase due to bonus coefficients can be very useful. For example, for those who did not know about their right to early retirement and applied many years later. Even in this case, there will be an increase in the IPC, because It is not necessary to notify the Pension Fund of your refusal in advance.

For other non-insurance periods

Socially significant periods in a person’s life can also be taken into account as part of a pension. Law No. lists such periods. They are called non-insurance, because no fees are paid for them. Therefore, the Pension Fund compensates for such length of service in a different way.

For each year a certain number of pension points is provided. They are summed up with other accumulated coefficients, increasing the total amount of payments.

Today, pensioners can contact the Pension Fund with an application to recalculate such periods, if any. If such a period coincides with the insurance period of work, the most profitable calculation option will be selected. When assessing your pension rights, points and length of service for the same period cannot be taken into account.

Such periods will help future pensioners formulate their pension rights in a timely manner. Knowing about the possibilities of using such periods, you can increase your pension amount or earn missing points.

Example 3. In the absence official work pension rights are not formed. In this case, you can arrange care for a disabled pensioner. Thus, for each year, 1.8 points will be taken into account on an individual personal account with the Pension Fund. And in five years, have not only experience, but also 8 additional points.

Example 4. For those who do not have enough IPC to assign a pension and there is no opportunity to find a job, you can also “get” points by arranging care for an 80-year-old pensioner you know.

Pension points were introduced by a new reform only recently. Before 2002, there was no such thing as insurance premiums. Then different rules for calculating rights were in effect. But even today, all those periods are necessarily taken into account when assigning a pension. They are calculated according to the “old” rules and converted into individual pension coefficients.

The basic rule in those years was identical to the current one: the greater the length of service and salary, the higher the size of your future monthly payments from the Pension Fund. Only they were confirmed work books and certificates. Therefore, any additional certificate that increases pension rights for the Soviet years increases your IPC today.

Example 5. Certificate for the period of work during school or student years in Soviet times taken into account by the Pension Fund authorities in work experience. Even if the certificate contains several workdays in a month, a full calendar month will be taken into account in the pensioner’s work experience.

For the children

Motherhood, which is encouraged by the state, deserves special attention. The period can be taken into account not only as part of the length of service and points, but also doubled for each subsequent child. This can significantly increase your retirement points. Therefore, it is so important to submit birth certificates of children to the territorial body of the Pension Fund.

The period of childcare is taken into account in the length of service for no more than 6 years (one and a half years each). The maximum number of pension coefficients of 24.3 can be obtained for four raised children. But it should be borne in mind that in “pure” form they can be accrued only if they do not coincide with the length of service.

Example 6. Caring for three children can bring 16.2 points to a mother’s piggy bank. For each, you can take into account one and a half years with increasing points for the second and third child:
1. 2,7 = 1,8 * 1,6
2. 5,4 = 3,6 * 1,6
3. 8,1 = 5,4 * 1,6

How to find out how many points you have accumulated

All periods labor activity and accumulated pension coefficients must be taken into account in the Pension Fund. Data about each citizen is stored in (ILS). This is the Pension Fund's electronic storage of our work and wages. This is where all the information about your accumulated points is stored.

Today, every person can request and find out information in the form of an extract from their individual personal account. Information that is stored about you in Pension Fund are provided free of charge. Article 14 Federal Law dated 04/01/1996 No. 27-FZ.

  1. The simplest and quick way view information about how many pension points you have accumulated. Directly in the personal account of the insured person on the Pension Fund website.
  2. On the website gosuslugi.ru it is possible to request an extract from the ILS in the form of a document. For convenience, it can be printed.
  3. Upon application, you can obtain information directly from the territorial office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation closest to you. The application can be written not only in customer service on site, but also bring the completed form or send it by mail.

Job information is constantly updated based on employers' reports. As for information about past periods of work, it may not be found. It is worth paying attention to this and checking whether all the data is available in the Pension Fund about your activities. In case of missing or inaccurate information, you can contact the nearest territorial office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation to confirm the available data.

As a result, each option from the 5 listed methods of accruing pension points has its own characteristics. Long term the best option Earning the maximum number of IPCs can be considered official employment. As you increase wages will increase and future pension. For those who have already achieved retirement age, but has slightly fallen short of the required minimum odds, the “buy” option is suitable. The period of caring for a disabled person can additionally bring several bonuses to the IPC treasury, which will help you increase your pension.

Shows which learning practices are most effective and how many points they add to the overall result. The biggest contribution comes from doing well in high school.

4-6 points will ensure successful studies at school

Unified State Examination points, in fact, are earned quite in advance - by regularly studying well. High grades in the tenth grade at school give hope for success in the exams. Four to six points - this is the average difference in USE results for excellent and good students compared to C students.

But tutors and preparatory courses at universities, despite all the myths about their importance for success in exams, are by no means so effective.

Tutors and courses will add 1-2 points

To prepare for the Unified State Exam, high school students actively study with tutors and preparatory courses. However, the benefits of these activities are greatly exaggerated.

Tutors, according to laboratory research, do not provide a significant effect at all (see). Courses can increase a graduate’s performance by an average of only one or two points. But only strong students can count on this increase.

“If a person has not paid attention to his studies for ten years, then gaps will probably form in his knowledge, which will then be problematic to quickly close,” explained Andrei Zakharov. Another reason for the ineffectiveness of additional classes is the insufficiently high quality of services.

3-4 points in the “result box” - from specialized training

In specialized classes, where students come after the ninth grade (and pre-professional preparation begins even earlier), maximum attention is paid to the selected subjects. More hours are allocated to them in the curriculum, and the content of the training is more intense. Children go through more topics, and at a deeper level. Hence the impact on exam results. The contribution of this factor is plus three to four points.

2-5 points will be provided by intensive preparation for the Unified State Exam at school and at home

Teachers cannot be blamed for their indifference to the successful passing of exams by graduates. Both class work and homework are often devoted to “targeted” preparation for the Unified State Exam. Children complete tests from previous years and practice creative tasks. Such work gives from two to five points “plus”.

“At the same time, for students from specialized classes, the effect is obtained by frequently completing tasks mainly from part C,” commented Andrei Zakharov. “There are complex tasks in mathematics and exact sciences that require reasoning and explanation of the solution, or essays in the Russian language.”

However, there are other factors for success in exams. These are the education and cultural needs of the parents and, undoubtedly, the abilities and motivation of the student himself. In short, educational history consists of many stories. “And what happens in the last few months before the exam is very important, but may not always be decisive,” the researcher emphasized.

The secret to successfully passing the Unified State Exam lies in intensive preparation in high school and good performance throughout your studies, and not in the number of tutors. Experts from the Institute of Education of the Higher School of Economics came to this conclusion. Based on their research, they developed a “Unified State Exam calculator.”

The created “Unified State Exam calculator” demonstrates the most effective teaching practices and shows by what number of points they can increase the final exam result.

According to experts from the International Laboratory for Analysis of Educational Policy of the University, high-quality studies at school allow, on average, to add 4-6 points to the Unified State Examination results. Successful passing of exams is significantly influenced by high academic performance in high school. As a rule, the average difference between excellent students and C students based on test results is from 4 to 6 points.

Teachers share this conclusion from experts. “In high school, practically no new material is given; everything is aimed at fluently repeating the topics covered and solving Unified State Examination tasks,” says classroom teacher graduating class Valentina Gavrilova. “Practice shows that those who have always studied with “fours” and “fives” pass exams well, because they have a good foundation, they only deepen their knowledge, and do not cover blind spots in fire mode.”

Experts note that the influence of tutors on the final result is significantly exaggerated. The result can increase by approximately 1-2 points due to graduates attending exam preparation courses.

According to experts, the lack of proper results from additional classes may be due to the insufficient quality of the services provided. In addition, if a student has not paid due attention to his studies for the entire ten years, then it will be quite problematic to correct the gaps in knowledge that have formed during this time.

However, teacher-tutors question this conclusion. “The classes have an average of 25 people. The teacher is not able to pay attention to everyone. If some topic is not understood by the student, then no one will chew on it. This creates a knowledge gap. Then, like a snowball, it covers the child closer to the Unified State Examination,” explains biology teacher, tutor with 10 years of experience Marina Stupkina. – I find out which sections were undeveloped and dwell on them in detail. The student tries to figure it out, and when he succeeds, he again feels interested in learning. And this is the most important thing."

Specialized training can add about 3-4 more points. “In specialized classes, where students come after the ninth grade (and pre-professional preparation begins even earlier), maximum attention is paid to the selected subjects. More hours are allocated to them in the curriculum, and the content of the training is more intense. Children go through more topics, and at a deeper level. Hence the impact on exam results,” explains Andrei Zakharov, deputy head of the international laboratory for educational policy analysis at the Institute of Education of the Higher School of Economics.

Intensive preparation, both at school and at home, can raise the overall result by 2-5 points. The greatest effect is ensured by regular completion of Part C tasks, which include complex tasks in the exact sciences and essays in the Russian language. The tasks in this part, including essays, require deep knowledge, since they are based on reasoning and explanations of solutions.

Other factors for successfully passing the Unified State Exam in High school economics named the education of parents and their level of culture, as well as the abilities and motivation of students.
