What is needed for work

For work, we need: cardboard 1 mm thick, kraft paper, designer paper, tape or elastic, decorative tape, decorations, brush and PVA glue

Cover tutorial step by step

We cut out 2 blanks from millimetric cardboard, measuring 14 by 14 cm.

First we need to glue them with paper to close the ends. You can use kraft paper or thin scrap paper. We cut out a rectangle from it, its minimum size is 17 by 32 cm - we left allowances on all sides of 1.5 cm and a gap in the middle of 1 cm to form a "binding".

To evenly glue the cardboard covers to the kraft paper, we draw 3 lines: 2 lines in the middle with a step of 1 cm and 1 line at the bottom, at a distance of 2 cm from the edge. Now you need to glue, apply PVA glue to the cardboard itself, in a continuous thin layer.

Cut off the corners, leaving about 1.5 mm from each corner.

We bend and glue the allowances, first horizontally. We use the same PVA glue, coat it well, carefully bend it so that everything is smooth,

in the middle we pass several times with the index finger.

This way we'll get everything wrapped up nicely.

How to gift wrap a cd
When it comes to what kind of gift you can make a man with your own hands, many give up. Indeed, not every man may like handmade gifts, so I always emphasize that you need to think a hundred times before deciding to make something for your man. But today I want to offer quite interesting idea gift - a CD in a gift box. Read on for details...

Dear women and girls, in this article I will tell you how to make a small but pretty one with your own hands. original gift man. Not every girl decides to make gifts to a man with her own hands, believing that they (men) are not lovers of needlework and may simply not appreciate the efforts.

But after all, a homemade gift does not have to be knitted, embroidered or painted. Let's try to give a man a CD. Almost every house and every man now has a computer or laptop, so this gift will be very relevant for many.
so small and humble gift perfect for the holidays New Year, February 14 or 23, you can even give it to a work colleague.
But what exactly will be on this disk is up to you to decide. I will offer you two options.

Option 1 is easy. Go and buy a disc in the store with some game (if a man is fond of), favorite musical group(for a music lover) or any other information that is interesting for your man and package it beautifully with your own hands.

Option 2 - difficult. Buy an empty disc and burn something on it yourself (I don't know what, decide for yourself). For example, a collection of his beloved's favorite songs will listen to them in his car and remember you kind word a company that will not only select songs, but also make a cover with the image of a loved one.

Then you put this disk in a special box and pack it in colored paper or cardboard. Here, for example, look at difficult master class from barammaneo.com about how to make a package (box) for a CD from corrugated cardboard with New Year's symbols.

First you need to measure the plastic box for the disk, and then, using these indicators, make such a blank in which the fold lines must be pressed through with some thin blunt object so that the folds are neat.

We bend along the pressed lines.

We put the disc in the box inside and, using glue or double-sided tape, seal our cover.

If the cardboard is simple, then you can decorate it with a piece of colored beautiful paper, with musical or New Year's motives. But if the cardboard itself, from which you make the packaging, is already with a pattern, then there is no need to overdo it. After all, we are preparing a gift for a man, and for the most part they love conciseness and restraint.

The author of this master class suggests decorating the box itself with a small disk so that it is immediately clear what it is. Men - they are not so quick-witted!

You can stick a snowman on a voluminous adhesive tape or something else related to the holiday itself. For example, hearts or doves, if this is a gift for Valentine's Day. Oh, and don't forget to tie it with ribbon. In this case, it is better to choose a narrow ribbon - a wide one will cover the entire gift.

If you are going to give a CD with a selection of photos, videos, or other form of congratulations, then you should package the CD nicely.

Moreover, you can make a package in which the disk will be stored.

It won't wrapping, but a mini-box, which in no case will be thrown away.

For such packaging, the following materials and tools will be required:

  • A4 paper sheet;
  • on a sheet of yellow and blue colored paper (such as xerox paper);
  • glue stick;
  • adhesive decorative elements-pebbles;
  • ruler;
  • knitting needle (for knitting);
  • graphite pencil;
  • eraser;
  • scissors;
  • curly hole punch edge;
  • figured corner hole puncher;
  • a machine for cutting and, accordingly, a knife for cutting out an oval element (size about 10 by 7 cm) and flowers.

Description of work:

As a rule, plastic boxes for disks are the same size, but still, to be sure, measure its length, width and thickness.

Based on the size of our box, we make a drawing with a graphite (simple) pencil.

We cut out a blank for packaging from a drawing paper. We make cuts along the lines marked in the drawing in red.

We bend over the blue. To make the fold line even, apply a ruler to it and draw along the line, pressing lightly, with an ordinary knitting needle.

Cut out a template from whatman paper: 1/4 circle, 1.5 cm in diameter.

We circle this template from the extreme sides of the package. And cut along the circled line.

We make such cutouts so that the box with the disc can be easily removed from the package.

Cut out an oval decorative element from blue paper.

This can be done using a cutting machine and an appropriate knife, or cut with curly scissors, or take a finished napkin of the right size.

We cut out 4 strips from yellow paper, about 3 cm wide. Cut out the edges of the strips either with a curly hole punch or curly scissors.

We arrange the cut out elements as follows: yellow stripes along the vertical, a blue oval on top of the stripes in the center. We glue the elements on the glue stick.

Cut off the excess edges of the strips.

We cut out the flowers either with a typewriter and a knife, or manually from whatman paper.

If we cut it out by hand, then the edges of the petals should be twisted with scissors for the bulk of the flower.

We glue decorative pebbles on strips along their entire length in the center, along the edge of the oval and in the middle of the flower.

We cut out the tag from the paper with scissors and a figured hole punch. One of the corners can be twisted with scissors.

Glue the tag in the center on the glue stick.

We glue the package with glue-pencil.

3. We bend the sheet folded from the sides again, by half the size of the disk. In the resulting pocket, insert our disk - photo No. 3.
4 . The rest of the sheet, bend towards the disk and press it against it - photo No. 4.
5. We turn the same part of the sheet back and make small bends on the sides, in the form of wings - photos No. 5 and No. 6.
