A neat jacket and moon manicure looks very nice on short nails. Making them is very easy.

Shellac drawings are performed on short or long nails step by step:

  • First you need to carefully, but delicately prepare the nail plate itself. We push back the cuticle and give an attractive shape to the nails.
  • Next, apply the base composition to all nails. This should be done not only along the nail plate itself, but also along its edges. It is not recommended to take a lot of liquid. The base is dried using a UV lamp for two minutes.
  • The drawing can be performed both on a colored background and a transparent one. If the choice is on the first option, then the nails need to be covered with the desired shade, and then dried for two minutes. To make the result more saturated and durable, it is better to apply the background in several layers.
  • The result should be a sticky layer, which must be removed with cotton pads and a special composition. Thanks to this, the pattern will lie more neatly and evenly.
  • Then you can proceed directly to the implementation of the pattern. It is best to start with simple options. A small amount of shellac is dripped onto the surface of the nail, and then with a thin brush it is stretched in the right direction. If it is possible to complete such a drawing, then more intricate and complex techniques can be used further.
  • The resulting pattern is dried with a lamp for two minutes.
  • To make the manicure more resistant, you should cover the nails with two layers of top composition. Each of the layers must also dry under a UV lamp.

The attractiveness and durability of a manicure will largely depend on the thoroughness of the preparation of the nail plate. Also, do not be too zealous with a UV lamp, since an overdried coating, as well as not completely dried, can be deformed.

If you follow these rules and step-by-step instructions, then shellac with a pattern for short nails will be able to please with its durability and beauty. You can learn more about the implementation of such a manicure from the video.
