How to sew a children's holiday dress. Do-it-yourself elegant dress for a girl: patterns and knitting patterns. And now, on top of these T-shirt contours, we will draw our pattern

For very young children, it is best to sew an elegant dress, which will consist of separate parts - a bodice and a skirt (in my version - a dress with a double skirt: a tutu and a sun), which can not only be easily put on and taken off, but also combined with each other and other types of clothing. I decided to decorate the outfit with a beautiful belt with flowers. handmade made from satin ribbons.

A photo that contains a few ideas that will help you create an elegant dress for your daughter:

And here's the dress I got:

Elegant dress for a girl with her own hands

Fluffy tutu skirt

You will need:

• soft pink tulle - 4 m,
• scissors,
• elastic band for clothes with a thickness of 2 cm, length - the volume of the girl's waist minus 3 cm.
• We cut the tulle into rectangular segments 30 cm long and 20 cm wide. There is no need to cut the segments piece by piece, we can cut them in a bundle, folding them several times, and then cutting them off. It's very fast. Then we take an elastic band and tie it to the back of the chair. We tie pieces of tulle to the elastic band in two knots. So we tie the entire gum. We trim the ends of the material so that the skirt looks neat. A fluffy tutu skirt can be made in half an hour.

Tatyanka skirt

You will need:

0.5 m of fabric is enough for both the skirt and the bodice of the dress. The fabric that we need for the skirt is white guipure with flower patterns. Cut a piece of fabric 100 cm long by 15 cm.

We sew the fabric from the side where it is 15 cm. We have a double rectangle, with sides of 15 cm and 50 cm. On the long side we make a hem of 3 cm and sew, the length of the skirt has become 12 cm (it is necessary to leave a small hole in order to to skip the gum). We take an elastic band for clothes the same length as for a fluffy skirt - packs. We pass the elastic and iron it. The bottom edge can be processed if necessary. I did not do this, because there was a fabric edge. Tatyana's skirt is ready! By appearance This skirt is reminiscent of

Bodice

The fabric is the same as for sewing a Tatyanka skirt - guipure. I have no experience in cutting and sewing, so I took my daughter's T-shirt as a basis. I attached it to the newspaper and circled it along the contour - I got a bodice pattern. After that, I made allowances for the seams and increased the width so that it was convenient to take off and put on the bodice of the dress, since the guipure fabric does not stretch.

In order to make the bodice of the dress seem more festive, I made short wing sleeves. To do this, I cut out small strips along an oblique line, rounded the flank, swept over in a zigzag, slightly gathered it and sewed it to the bodice rounds.

For the convenience of dressing the bodice, you can make a fastener on the back with hinged loops and buttons from top to top. The neck of the bodice was hemmed with a seam at the hem with an open cut.

Belt with flowers from satin ribbons

For the belt, a guipure fabric measuring 1 m by 8 cm is used. We fold the fabric in half (we get a double piece of fabric 1 m long and 4 cm wide), and iron it so that it is convenient to stitch. We trim on three sides. Belt ready!

The belt is decorated with satin flowers. We will produce: 3 flowers (1 lilac and 2 pink), 3 lilac buds, 3 leaves.

You will need:

• 1 m lilac satin ribbon;
• 2 m pink satin ribbon;
• some green satin ribbon;
• pink threads, a needle, scissors and a candle.
• Manufacturing:

We make a lilac rose. To do this, cut out 11 petals and 3 petals for buds. Therefore, we divide 1 m of tape into 14 approximately identical pieces. We cut out the circles, you can put together several pieces of tape and cut them out. We got 14 circles. Then we take a candle and singe the edges so that the fabric does not crumble.

Now you can start creating a rose. We take one circle, fold it into a tube and sew it from below so that it does not bloom. We twist the second circle from two sides and sew it to the first petal. We also sew the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th circles. You can sew on all the circles, but I glued the rest so that the threads were not visible. We have 3 circles of lilac color left. We twist and sew each circle.

We take a green satin ribbon and cut off three squares. The ends are singeed and glued diagonally. It turned out a triangle.

We take a sewn lilac circle, dip its tip into the glue and put it in our green triangle. We do the same with the other two. We got 3 buds.

From the green satin ribbon we cut out 3 shapes that look like sheets of flowers. We burn them over a candle. Sheets are ready.

Now there are only two left to do. pink roses. We do them in the same sequence as we did the lilac rose.

We measure the middle of the belt and glue a lilac rose, glue it on the left and right sides of it pink flowers, then glue the petals and buds.

Headband

In addition to the elegant dress, I sewed a headband of roses. To do this, I took stretch lace (stretching), measured the circumference of the child's head, subtracted 1 cm from the measurement, cut out a strip, sewed the ends. Then I made a rose, 3 leaves, 1 bud. I glued them to the lace. Here is the headband.

Carnival costume - an elegant dress for a girl with festive accessories is ready! We have replenished the children's room with one more interesting thing.

Be patient and good mood get to work.

Invest in every detail, in every stitch, a piece of your soul, only then you will get a result that will exceed all your expectations. Let's take a closer look at a few patterns of dresses for girls.

Ball gown with tulle

First of all, you need to make a skeleton, that is, a pattern ball gown. But most first step there will be a choice of material that is more appealing to your masterpiece. It should be organza, satin or silk, in general, see for yourself. So we produce necessary measurements and here approximate values for ages from 3 years to 6 will be described:

• shoulder length (9 cm);
• neck girth (12 cm);
• bust (27 cm);
• sleeve length (27 cm);
• dress length (45 cm);
• back length back to waist (23cm).

It will have slightly different sizes, so be sure to clearly measure the child, and then transfer everything to paper. Try to carefully calculate each segment in the drawing, this is very important.

Basic steps to pattern dresses for girls

Now, step by step, to make it clear, let's do do-it-yourself ball gown pattern for a girl:

1. We take a blank sheet of paper and draw a rectangle on it, which we denote by ABCD.
2. In length on both sides of AD and BC, it will be 45 cm.
3. The width of AB and SD must be calculated as follows, the number 9 for any size is added to the circumference of the chest, that is, 27 + 9 = 36 cm.
4. We calculate the depth of the armhole: 1/3 of the chest circumference plus 6 cm. We get the following calculation: 27: 3 + 6 = 15 cm. From point A to point D, mark 15 cm and call it the letter G.
5. Now we draw a horizontal line from G to the intersection with BC and call this point G1.
6. We denote the waist line: from point A towards AD, we count the length of the back to the waist 23 cm and call it the letter T. From here we draw horizontally to the right and get point T1 at the intersection with BC.
7. We calculate the width of the back and mark it on the drawing: add 4 cm to 1/3 of the chest circumference: 27: 3 + 4 = 13 cm. From point G in the direction of the segment GG1, we determine 13 cm and call this place G2. Then from this point we draw a perpendicular and the intersection with AB, denoted by the letter P.
8. We find the width of the armhole, for this we add 1 cm to 1/3 of the chest girth, calculation: 27: 3 + 1 = 10 cm. From G2 to GG1 we count 10 cm and call G3. Now from G3 we draw a perpendicular crossing AB, marking this place, point P1.
9. Let's make a rise of the shelf, draw vertical lines from P1 and B 2 cm up, having received new points P2 and W. It remains only to connect them to each other.
10. Another calculation of the side line. We count 3 cm from G2 to GG1 and get G4. From the last point we descend perpendicularly to the DS line and get the point H. The middle of the intersection with TT4 will be called the letter T2.

These were basic pattern steps, but there are also auxiliary ones that definitely need to be completed.

Additional Steps for the Ball Gown Pattern

Take a break, look at what drawing you have turned out at the moment, and proceed to complete this pleasant and useful work with your own hands.

1. First, the first step of the additional pattern steps from the back:
• So, we determine the auxiliary points of the armhole and shoulder lines for this PG2 and P1G3 divide into equal four parts.
• We proceed to cut the neckline on the back: add 0.5 cm to 1/3 of the neck circumference, 12: 3 + 0.5 = 4.5 cm. From A to AB we count 4.5 cm, and then from this point another 1, 5 cm and connect with a line with t.A.
• Now the slope of the shoulder and the line of the armhole from the back. We divide the angle PG2G4 in half and draw a dotted line. From the point G2 we count 2.5 cm, and from G4 - 0.5 cm, and through the middle place of dividing these lines we draw a line that highlights the line of the armhole.
• Let's make a side seam. From T2 to T4, we count 1 cm and draw a line through 0.5, T4, 1, to SD, call H1. Now we rise up 1 cm from H1.
• Decorate the bottom line by dividing it into two equal parts of the DN. And then we combine the center and the place with the name 1.

2. We begin the second stage of the pattern of additional front steps:

• Let's make a neckline, from Ш towards ШП2 we set aside the number that we get by adding 0.5 cm to 1/3 of the neck girth, that is, 4.5 cm. From this place we go down 5.2 cm along the ШС.
• Now the slope of the shoulder and the line of the shoulder. From point P2 we go down 3 cm. Then we combine place 3 and 4.5. From the last we count 9 cm.
• Remained armhole line and side seam. In the first case, we divide the angle P1G3G4 in half with a dividing line and count 2 cm from the place G3. From P1G3 to the right 0.5 cm. We connect with a smooth line 9.0.5 and 2. Now for the side seam we count 2 cm towards TT1 from T2. And, finally, we draw a line through 0.5, G4 and 2 until it connects to the place of SD, we call the point H2. Then we rise from it by 1 cm.

Complete pattern ready puffy dress for a girl who, at first glance, may seem complicated. But gradually going through all the steps, you can easily draw it. Then it remains only to cut the fabric and carefully sew. This do-it-yourself ball gown can be sewn for any event.

We sew an elegant dress for girls

It will not be difficult to sew an elegant dress for girls with the above pattern. After making a drawing and choosing a fabric, we start sewing. Cut out the ball gown pattern. If you want to make some interesting collar, then you will need a special separate pattern for this.

The clasp is mainly made in the back of the product, but it can also be done in front. Let the girl try on the dress, and only then grind the side and shoulder seams. Separately take care of the gate, if it is needed there. Similarly, the sleeves, but better without them. And if you still decide to make sleeves, that is, very easy way. Take an old, unwanted dress with sleeves that can be undone. Then cut the sleeve along the seam and circle the resulting product. Now measure your child’s hand with such a pattern, adjust it, but do it with a small margin. First, baste the sleeve with your material and put it on your arm again. If everything is in order, then you can safely continue to sew.

After you finish sewing the sides, you can make all kinds of embellishments on the dress. Beautiful flowers made of organza or lace, for which your imagination is only ready to fly. And separately sew all this beauty to your magnificent masterpiece.

Well, you are just magicians, you could still sew an elegant dress with your own hands. It doesn’t matter how old your child is, 3 years old or 5 years old, just follow these recommendations clearly step by step, and everything will certainly work out.

The simplest pattern for an elegant dress for girls

If it was difficult for you to work with the first pattern, then try this one, the easiest and most convenient. To do this, take a children's T-shirt or T-shirt, then cut it off along the waistline. As you already understood, here you do not need to measure your hand and make patterns for sleeves. Separately, we sew a beautiful, fluffy skirt from a fabric cut into a rectangle. And the bottom of this skirt can be decorate with some airy frill.

After that, we simply sew the wrong sides of the top and bottom, that is, a T-shirt and a skirt. By the way, it will look good lush beautiful bow on the belt.

Without complex drawings and intricate calculations, you can sew simple everyday or elegant dresses for special occasions for your daughter at least every day. If you did not know about it yet, then we have collected for you simple options tailoring. Experienced craftswomen they will also be to your liking.

Simple for girls for 1-3 years

With just one pattern of a one-piece dress for a girl, you can sew many different models.

The model shown below is lined and fastens at the shoulders with buttons. It can be sewn from any thin or dense fabric.

Pattern

You can find a suitable pattern for a one-piece dress in magazines, or you can make it yourself by taking a T-shirt or blouse that fits well on a girl as a template.

How does this happen?

• Take a large piece of paper or a roll of wallpaper.
• After spreading the paper, lay out the T-shirt and circle the neck and armholes. Next, make a flare in the form of a trapezoid and round the bottom. It is not scary if the item you have chosen has a high waist or a strong flare. Outline the model, and then remove the excess and finish the necessary, adjust the depth of the armhole and neck. The main thing is that the shoulder bevels, chest width and armhole height are already there.
• When drawing, the pattern may turn out to be asymmetric. This is not scary, because one half is taken for cutting, naturally the best.
• If you are circling a blouse with sleeves, then go through the armhole with a needle. Traces will remain on paper and you can beautifully connect them with a pencil. In the same way, you can make a separate sleeve pattern.

Cutting and sewing

1. Open front and back lining fabric.
2. Circle the cut parts on the main fabric and cut out.
3. Sew along the side seams of the front and back of the lining and main fabric.
4. Match the tops of the two fabrics and secure with pins.
5. Sew and trim the edges.
6. Turn inside out and smooth out the seams.

1. Wrap the edges of the hem of the dress inside, turn the dress inside out and sew, leaving about 5 cm for turning inside out again.
2. After turning the dress inside out, fold the edges inward in an unsewn hole, smooth them and stitch them.
3. Lay a line along the upper cuts of the dress.

On the shoulders of the front, mark the place for sewing on the buttons and holes for the buttonholes. Then make loops and sew on the buttons covered with the main fabric.

Summer sundress without a pattern

To sew such a cute sundress, you don’t need a pattern at all and you don’t need to trace anything either, so a beginner in sewing can handle the dress. This model is suitable for a girl of any age and physique, since the width and length are made at your discretion.

• To begin with, we need to measure the volume of the girl’s chest and determine the length of the sundress. Multiply the volume by 1.5 or 2 to form beautiful folds and not press on the chest area. The length is measured from the armhole, plus 1.5 cm is added to it for the top edge and 4 cm for the bottom hem.
• Cut out the rectangle, fold it in half face inward and sew along the side.
• Make a hem at the top and hem. The edges can be finished with a zigzag stitch.
• Sew 5-10 rows on the dress with a zigzag stitch with an elastic band, or by wrapping an elastic band around the bobbin.
• Make 2 straps 90 cm long from a contrasting fabric and stitch to the front.
• From the same fabric as the sundress, make 2 loop strips 5x25 cm and stitch to the back.
• Pull the straps through the loops and tie into a bow.

Baptismal

While still very young, children are pure and innocent, and very similar to angels, especially during such a solemn ceremony, because white robes maximize this effect.

Baptismal dresses usually have a simple cut, so they are sewn quickly. So let's get started.

bodice

Make a top pattern using any method convenient for you. There will be a button closure on the back, so add a few inches for the placket.

• Cut out the satin and lining pieces, then sew the front and back in each fabric.
• Stitch the satin top and lining fabric together at the neckline, folded facing inward. To keep the edges from fraying, process them with a zigzag stitch.
• Turn the bodice inside out and iron.

Sleeves

• Make a sleeve pattern and open them.
• Gather a little at the bottom and at the top.
• Cut out 2 bands for edging the bottom of the sleeves. Their length is equal to the length of the bottom of the sleeve, and make the width arbitrary, given that it will fold in half.
• Sew the strips on one side, then fold over and sew on the other side.
• Sew in the sleeves and iron the seams.
• On the back, make loops or sew Velcro.

Skirt

The skirt will consist of 3 layers:

• Lower. From the lining fabric, cut out a rectangle of the same width as the bottom of the bodice, but shorter in length by 5-6 cm from the main length.
• Middle. From satin fabric, cut out a rectangle with a width equal to two widths of the lower edge of the bodice. That is, if the bottom of the front and back is 46 cm, then the width of the rectangle will be 92-100 cm. Make the length as you wish.
• Upper. The width of the second rectangle will be 2 times larger, that is, 184-200 cm and make the length a couple of centimeters shorter.

Sew each of the rectangles along the side seam. Work the top in a zigzag, and then pick it up to the desired size.

Fold all layers together and stitch, then sew to the top.

Fold the hem of the skirts.

Make flowers from strips of fabric.

elegant

Girls have no less than adults reasons to wear a smart dress. Therefore, we offer to sew a romantic model with frills.

Calculations

1. The top frill should cover the stitching seam of the next tier, so make the lining parts 2-4 cm smaller than the parts from the main fabric.
2. To make the skirt voluminous and flared, increase the length of the lining by 1.5 times, and the frills by 2.
3. If the volume of the top is 60 cm, then the length of the first tier of the lining should be 90 cm, and the frills - 120 cm.
4. The second tier and subsequent ones are calculated based on the size of the previous ones. That is, the length of the lining of the second tier is 135 cm, and the frills are 240 cm. The third is 202 cm for the lining and 360 cm for the frill.

If the fabric is dense, then the bottom lining is not needed.

Sewing

The top in the dress is ordinary, so cutting and sewing it, we will make a belt.

You will need a stripe of a contrasting color 13 cm wide and as long as the volume of the top. The strip, folded in half lengthwise, stitch to the bottom of the top.

In ruffles, hem the bottom edges with a narrow hem, and gather the top edges to the desired length.

In the linings, also gather the top edges. Then arrange all the details in pairs, so it will be more convenient to assemble the dress.

Stepping back 1.5 cm from the edge of the back, since a hidden zipper will be sewn in there, pin the frill with pins.

Place the first layer of lining front side on the frill and pin it with pins, while making sure that its sides coincide with the edges of the back, that is, there should be no indents. Sew through all layers.

Sew in the zipper, pinning it to the top and lining, while the frill is not sewn on.

For a nice looking lining, turn it inside out and sew very close to the zipper using the matching foot.

We sew the second tier. Close the rectangles from both fabrics into circles. Then pin the frill to the lining from the 1st tier, and put the second lining on top of it and sew together.

Sew the third in the same way.

Let's talk about how to sew beautiful modern dress for girl.To sew such a dress, you can use a flared skirt, or you can use several pieces of fabric that are uniform, either in texture or color. Contrasting fabric is best used when trimming the neckline and armholes, and here you can also use ready-made satin braid, which has a pre-folded allowance.

So, how to sew an elegant dress for a girl and what materials, tools do we need? To begin with, you should take a T-shirt and mark the bottom of the bodice line on it. By the way, be sure to take a measurement of the chest volume of the person for whom you are sewing this outfit. After that, fold the front of the shirt in half so that the shoulder seams and side seams are aligned with each other.

Then attach the fold of the T-shirt to the fabric and circle along all cut lines. When cutting, be sure to add about one and a half centimeters of seam allowance in the shoulder area, and on the sides and bottom of the armholes and neckline, 1 cm each. Then fold the back half of the T-shirt in half and circle. Along the line running along the middle of the back, add 2 cm for the zipper. If the fastener is on buttons, then in this case it is worth adding 4.5 cm.

Now for the cutting of the skirt. The guideline here for us will be the size of the volume of the bodice, which was removed in advance and which will also be equal to the length of the top edge of the skirt. Further, using the formula, where the value R - indicates the desired radius, L - the volume of the chest, and n - indicates the number of wedges, you can calculate the following: 1) R = L / (2 * 3.14) - the inner size of the circumference of the sun skirt. 2) R=L/3.14 - the upper size of the semicircle of the skirt - half sun. 3) L / n - the length of the wedge of the upper edge. 4) (1.5 ~ 3) * n - the length of the upper edge of the skirt - Tatyanka.

Be sure to remember that the formula does not take into account the allowances that were left for the seams. In addition, pre-prepared braid should be no more than 35 cm long and not less than 30 cm long, and two and a half to three centimeters wide, and cutting it for the neck is carried out along an oblique thread about 50 cm long.

How to sew beautiful with your own hands child dress. At the beginning of sewing, a fastener is made. The sections of the fastener should be processed on an overlock or a “goat”. Then they should be bent 2 cm to left side, provided that the zipper, if on buttons, then 3 cm and the folded side should be glued with a strip of interlining about 3 cm wide.
Next, the side seams and shoulder seams should be stitched and then the cuts should be processed. The armholes and neckline are trimmed with oblique inlays.

The canvas of the skirt is prepared as follows: if the skirt has wedges, then they should be sewn together, and the seams should be processed. If it is “Tatyana”, then for a year we simply collect the upper cut. Next, we grind both the top of the skirt and the bottom of the bodice, while necessarily folding them to each other "face". At the end of sewing, we process the bottom of the dress, sew on a button and, of course, make loops for them.

How to sew for a girl beautiful dresses with a pattern and without a pattern. We are watching step by step videos master classes:

In any children's store you will find a lot of dresses for little fashionistas, be it festive, knitted. Leading fashion houses also do not deprive their youngest clients of their attention. But quite often, children's things cost so much that the mother will think three hundred times before taking out her wallet. Do you want to dress up a child or teenager, but finances do not allow? You can do a lot on your own if you try hard enough. Where can I get baby dress patterns for beginners? It is not difficult to make simple patterns with your own hands and for free, we will talk about some methods now.

Not everyone knows about this, but in order to sew a dress for a girl, a pattern is not at all necessary! Without a pattern, you can sew:

• outfit in folk style;
• ball gown;
• summer sundress.

Are you wondering where to start? Let's do a sundress then - it's the easiest. But first you need to take some measurements - it's best to write them down if you are not going to be limited to just one product.

Measure:

• your little daughter's height;
• chest girth;
• waist circumference;
• hip girth;
• shoulder length;
• sleeve length (you won’t need it for a sundress, but if you already took measurements, it’s useful to do everything at once);
• estimated product length.

Important! For a sundress with straps, measure the length of the product from the armpit to the intended bottom line.

Choosing a fabric

In general, sewing for small children is a pleasure. The seams are short, the fabric needs little, no darts and intricate details. The simpler the style, the better. Enough to choose beautiful fabric, and even the most elementary, but neatly tailored dress will look like a princess.

Important! You can also use the scraps left over from a new mother's dress, or change something of your own for your daughter - good, but managed to get bored.

If you choose material for a summer sarafan, it is better to choose one that drapes well:

• crepe de chine;
• chiffon;
• thin chintz;
• satin;
• poplin;
• gauze.

Important! Chintz fits just perfect - inexpensive, very hygienic, bright, suitable for a New Year's dress. And it's okay that it quickly fades - anyway, by next summer, my daughter will grow out of this dress.

Also, to sew a baby, light dress DIY, you need:

• linen gum;
• braid to match the fabric - for straps and edging.

We sew a sarafan

Perhaps this model with an elastic band and straps is the simplest do-it-yourself dress for a girl. If you sew it from an opaque fabric, it will be single layered. It is better to fold gauze in two layers or make a cover. Below are photo sketches.

Operating procedure:

1. Spread the fabric in one layer inside out.
2. Draw a top line perpendicular to the edges.
3. From this line, lay down the length of the product, plus allowances for the drawstring on top and for processing the bottom - you can immediately outline the drawstring lines.
4. Through this mark, draw another perpendicular to the edges.
5. On the line that goes along the lobar, set aside a segment equal to the circumference of the chest, multiplied by 1.5 or 2 (depending on how well the fabric drapes: if it is gauze, it is better to make lush gathers, if chintz or satin are more modest ).
6. Cut out the detail.

Assembling a sundress

How to sew a children's dress with your own hands? Very simple. This model has only one seam, plus bottom processing, plus a drawstring:

1. Start with a drawstring - iron the upper cut to the wrong side, then bend the fold by 0.5 cm and sew it all up (it is better to make a decorative stitch on the front side).
2. Stitch the back seam on the wrong side, leave the area near the drawstring unsealed so that you can insert the elastic.
3. Insert rubber band.
4. Try on the blank for your daughter.
5. Mark the places for the straps.
6. Cut 2 pieces of braid, sew on the straps.
7. Hem the bottom - hem it by hand or stitch it.
8. Along the hem, you can sew the same braid from which the straps are made.

Important! The straps of such a sundress can be made tied.

Sundress on a yoke

If you need a dress for a girl, you can sew it yourself from two different fabrics. For example, for a coquette, take satin, and for the bottom - crepe de chine. But nothing prevents constructing a similar little thing from the same material.

This summer dress on a yoke is also made like a sundress, only the shoulder straps are better to be made wide and from the same fabric as the yoke, and this model does not have drawstrings.

Important! It is better to cut out the yoke first on paper - it looks like a strip 5-6 cm wide and a length equal to the half-girth of the chest. There will be 4 parts - two for the front and two for the back. Like these ones simple patterns children's dresses for beginners can be used.

Operating procedure:

1. Spread the fabric along the share (you can immediately in two layers).
2. Cut out 4 strips of the specified size from it (do not forget to add allowances for all cuts) - the shared thread coincides with the short side.
3. Cut out the hem - for this, subtract the width of the yoke from the total length of the product (like the previous model, it is measured from the armpit to the bottom).
4. Cut out 2 straps - these are also strips 5-6 cm wide, but, unlike the yoke, when cutting, the shared thread coincides with the long side.

Straps

To assemble this model, start by preparing the straps:

1. Fold the strips in half right sides out.
2. Insert long allowances inside.
3. Iron them.
4. Stitch the seam and topstitch the straps all around.

Yoke

To sew a baby dress with your own hands quickly, connect the yoke with the straps, and then sew on the bottom:

1. We sweep the strips in pairs: one for the outside, the other for the inside.
2. We sweep each into a ring.
3. We try one of them on the model.
4. We outline places for the straps - both on that part of the coquette that will be outside and on the one inside.
5. Carefully unpick the basting, straighten the rings.
6. We fold the strips intended for the front, right sides to each other.
7. We put straps between them.
8. Sew off the top seam.
9. We twist the yoke - the long parts of the straps should be on the front side.
10. We iron the seam.
11. We do the same with the back parts - after you stitch them, the straps should be sewn in.
12. We cut the side seams of the coquette - the allowances should be inside.

Putting together a summer dress

Your yoke with straps is ready. It remains to sew the hem, but first you need to prepare it:

1. Sew the back seam.
2. Iron the allowances on the sides.
3. Sew along the joining line to the yoke with a basting stitch and gather.
4. Place the top edge of the body between the yoke pieces and tuck in.
5. Attach the main part to the yoke.

The dress is almost ready, it remains to trim the bottom.

Dress according to the pattern

You can also sew a children's dress with your own hands according to a pattern. Clothing for small children is also good because many things can be sewn according to the same patterns. For example, on a T-shirt or T-shirt. To do this, it is not at all necessary to unpick the thing - you can simply circle it. It's better to do this on paper first so that you can model the cutout:

1. Circle the shirt.
2. For the back straight dress just continue the side lines down to the desired length.
3. For the shelf, also continue the lines down to the same length.
4. Find the middle of the cutout.
5. Draw a line down from this point.
6. Set aside 2 cm.
7. Connect this new point to the beginning of the shoulder seams.
1. Cut out 2 pieces - front and back.
2. Cut out the facings for the neck and armholes - just circle them first along the contour of the pattern, and then make a parallel stroke at a distance of 2.5-3 cm (you need to circle by aligning the front side of the part with the wrong side of the facing).
3. Sew the shoulder and side seams of the main parts, while ironing the allowances to the sides.
4. Sew along the shoulder seams of the neckline.
5. Iron the allowances.
6. Turn the main dress inside out.
7. Baste the facings so that their front sides are on the wrong side of the dress.
8. Sew along the cutouts.
9. Bend the free edges by 0.5 cm and stitch - better with a finishing stitch on the front side.
10. After that, all you have to do is trim the bottom.

Elegant dress for a girl with her own hands

Have you thought about how to dress up the princess for a matinee, but there is almost no time left? Nothing complicated. Now we will talk about how to sew a baby dress with fluffy skirt- this the best way Yes, and you can do it in a couple of hours.

You will need:

• material for the top (if there is a beautiful swimsuit or bodysuit, it will be very good - the upper part can also be made from these items);
• tulle or guipure for a skirt;
• wide elastic band for the belt;
• large compass;
• long line.

Top

The top is done in the same way as for a simple sleeveless dress - that is, a T-shirt is circled, but only to the waist. The notch is modeled.

If you are sewing a dress from a swimsuit, simply cut (cut) the lower part or turn the swimsuit into a bodysuit by cutting it between your legs and sewing an inconspicuous button there. Why is a clasp needed? Then, so that your little princess does not feel any inconvenience and does not puzzle over what to do if she needs to go to the toilet.

We start the assembly from the top - we simply sew the parts in the same way as in the manufacture of any other clothing. You can immediately process the top and armholes, unless, of course, you are going to sew in a zipper.

Making a skirt

The sun skirt on a little girl looks just perfect. It can be floor-length or very short, in the style of dudes. Only two measurements are needed - the waist circumference and the length of the skirt itself.

Important! What to sew from? The ingenious invention of designers is tulle. Holds its shape well - no need to starch. You can cut as you like, it costs nothing to cut several layers at once.

The template is better to make in advance:

1. Calculate the construction, the radius of the notch - divide the waist circumference by 6.28.
2. Draw a circle on the sheet with this radius.
3. Add the length of the product to the radius.
4. Draw a second circle from the same center - you will get a ring.
5. Cut out several layers of tulle - they may be the same, but you can make frills of different lengths.

Your next steps depend on what the top is made of.
