What to apply under the eyes instead of foundation. Concealer, corrector and foundation: what and why to use. How to hide pockmarks or scars

Perhaps it is a rare modern girl who has not heard of such a cosmetic product as concealer. This kind of lifesaver helps us hide fatigue, traces of lack of sleep and turns our face into a fresh and healthy one. However, not everyone knows how to use concealer correctly, on which areas of the face it can be applied and on which it should not be applied. We have prepared material especially for you about how to properly apply concealer on your face.

temprop="content="650">

First, it is important to clarify one detail: Concealer is not a corrector! Despite the fact that both of these products perform masking functions, they have different principle actions. Concealer is lighter in texture and can be used to hide dark spots, circles under the eyes, etc. The corrector is dense and serves to disguise more obvious imperfections, such as pimples, for example. Both concealer and corrector come in many color variations, depending on the “color of the problem” that needs to be hidden. More about this later.

So, concealer is a light corrective product that can be used to disguise skin imperfections or correct uneven makeup. Due to its thin consistency, it can be applied to large areas of the face - the entire surface of the nose, under the eyes, on the chin, forehead. At the same time, it mixes well with foundation and becomes completely invisible (if, of course, both products are of high quality and suit each other). The concealer may contain reflective particles and then it can be used as a highlighter for the bridge of the nose, on the cheekbones, etc.

Concealers are available in different types, in your arsenal it is advisable to have a couple for different purposes or one favorite proven remedy.

Main types of concealers

Most often, a concealer in natural shades is chosen a tone or two lighter than the foundation. You can apply it either under the cream or on top - it depends on what goals you want to achieve. For example, spot correction can be done both before and after applying foundation, or even twice. If you are using Foundation after concealer, the chosen cream should have a loose consistency and have a very light coverage. To correct the skin around the eyes, it is better to use concealer on top of the cream and set with powder.

How to use colored concealer

Colored concealers are not often found in makeup bags modern girl, and, meanwhile, it’s very in vain. Our skin is a mix of different shades. Each imperfection on the face has its own color, and if we recall the elementary basics of color, we will notice that one color is neutralized by another. Purple will remove yellowness, green will remove redness. Don't miss the opportunity to adjust your color as naturally as possible.

The most common concealer colors are:

Violet– suitable for neutralizing excessive yellowness of the face and age spots.
Yellow– will hide dark circles under the eyes, small wreaths, and give the skin a warm tint.
Orange (apricot)– a light orange concealer will cope with signs of severe lack of sleep and bluish undertones of the skin.
Pink– neutralizes green. For example, greenish circles under the eyes. But be careful not to get it on blue, otherwise you risk getting a “surprise” in the form of charming purple bruises.
Green- will save you from various types redness. Pimples, vascular networks - it's all for him.

As for choosing a concealer, it’s unlikely that anyone here can give you any sensible advice. As is the case with all cosmetic products, concealer is selected individually and what suits your friend or famous blogger may not suit you. Only by trying different products will you be able to find that “your” ideal concealer.
Good luck to everyone! Be beautiful!

Girls want to look beautiful, fresh and young every day. And makeup comes to their aid, which most girls do every day. But there are so many secrets in applying makeup that makeup artists don’t just reveal. For example, there is this cosmetic product like a concealer. Few girls know what it is and what it is used for. And those girls who know this product are only concerned with the question of what comes first: concealer or foundation.

The difference between concealer and foundation is their density.
The concealer is needed for retouching such complex areas of the face as the eye area and eyelids. Concealer is applied to the lower part of the eyelid to hide bruises. While the cream can tint any unevenness and pimples on the surface of the entire face. Make-up using concealer and foundation must be done carefully so as not to overdo it with layers applied to the face. The skin may look unnatural and vary in color in different places.

If you answer the question of what to apply as the first layer, you can see that most experts advise applying foundation as the first layer, and concealer next. Many girls complain that the effect of concealer is often invisible. It simply lies on the skin, but does not hide its imperfections. This can happen if you do not follow certain rules when applying concealer.

First you need to cleanse the skin of oil with a toner or special napkins. Allow the skin to dry and then moisten it with a small amount of water, preferably using a makeup brush, or spray it with a spray bottle.

The thing is that concealer does not apply well to dry skin, so moistening it with water will make retouching problem areas easier.

It is also a mistake to apply concealer with unwarmed hands. It does not contact cold surfaces well, and therefore can accumulate in clumps in wrinkles. If a girl has oily skin, concealer must be applied with brushes and not with hands.

The next big mistake is to apply concealer before foundation or powder. Their consistency is such that only with this order of application can they interact and positively affect the appearance of facial skin.

If a girl understands that the purchased concealer has a dense texture, it can be diluted with a more liquid cream or cream intended for makeup.

If you don’t know how to use concealer correctly and how much to apply to the skin, you can overdo it and get a stain that will differ from the color of the skin itself, which will not look very aesthetically pleasing. Therefore, each imperfection should be retouched on the sides, rather than applying concealer directly to it. The best assistant in camouflage is considered to be a cosmetic brush, which does what it does: camouflage, rather than erase, skin imperfections.

To avoid clogging wrinkles with concealer, you need to use a cream that is intended for the eyelids, preferably a day cream, it is not so greasy.

In order to avoid the main mistake in makeup, under no circumstances should you replace concealer with foundation. The area around the eyes should be lighter than the rest of the skin, but foundation is not suitable for such a procedure, and experts also advise buying a concealer that is 1 or 2 shades lighter than the foundation.

There is a cosmetic product called eye corrector, and it is very often confused with concealer. But their difference lies in the final effect. Concealer can only change the color of imperfections on the skin (make them less noticeable), while correctors completely disguise them. For example, in order to get rid of circles under the eyes, it is better to use any type of concealer.

And there are several of them, and each of them differs in its structure: a pencil, liquid in tubes, in a stick (dense structure) and in the form of a cream. Each of them is responsible for different types of masking of various imperfections on the facial skin. Therefore, before purchasing, you need to consult with a professional who will advise which product and consistency will suit each problem individually.

Also, correctors come in different colors, from beige to green, and what exactly it will conceal depends on its color.

Tips for applying corrector or concealer can be found on the Internet, where they teach this using video lessons. Or in different women's magazines can be step by step photos applying one of the cosmetics.

Making your face beautiful and perfect is not as difficult as it seems. IN modern world A lot of products have been created that will help every girl become beautiful. The main thing is to choose the right product and know how to use it. Of course, it will cost a lot of money, but no one saves on their beauty.

What is concealer

This is a new product in decorative cosmetics, a fairly thick, opaque cream in beige shades from light to dark tones, designed to correct skin imperfections and neutralize excess color. Used to disguise dark circles under the eyes, bruises, redness, freckles, age spots, wrinkles, acne, rosacea. When applied correctly, concealer improves appearance, emphasizes facial features.

The cosmetic contains reflective particles that help hide small wrinkles, as if highlighting the desired facial features. Disinfectants together with zinc will help get rid of inflammation, and vitamins and antioxidants increase skin tone.

This product, unlike a corrector, has a denser structure; it must be used sparingly and carefully. To make your face look natural and attractive, you need to know how to apply concealer correctly.

Stages of creating makeup

To create a natural and at the same time attractive appearance, you need to know all the intricacies of using a cosmetic product.

The first stage is preparatory. The skin of the face should be cleansed with tonic or lotion and moisturized with a non-greasy daily moisturizer. Wait until it is well absorbed. A special product is used for the skin around the eyes.

Then apply a base or makeup base - primer. This is a nourishing cosmetic product that helps even out the face and, as a result, smooth out makeup. Also, using a base will make it last longer without any greasy shine.

The third stage is to even out the tone of the face. For this purpose, foundation is used, BB cream or CC-. The area around the eyes is more sensitive and does not require alignment at this stage.

If, after applying foundation, age spots, pimples, and spider veins are still clearly visible on your face, you can use a concealer. This cosmetic product must be applied pointwise from the edge of the problem area to its center.

How to apply concealer

Purple and white shades are applied to the area around the lips and nose. The T-zone is covered in a shade lighter than the skin, while the walls of the nose are covered in a shade darker. Light colors are applied under the eyebrows and corners of the eyelids, making the look more expressive. The cheekbones are emphasized with a gray-violet shade. Skin defects are masked by the nature of their appearance.

Apply only liquid concealer to the skin around the eyes. All edges of the face oval that come into contact with the hair of the head and eyebrows should also be treated with concealer, otherwise there will be an artificial face effect. According to makeup rules, the neck and chin should be the same tone as the skin of the face, so you can also sculpt the neck.

Concealer must be applied correctly with a moistened sponge or brush. If the application boundaries are visible, foundation is applied on top, it will hide the transitions. Concealer, unlike correctors, has only beige shades. After application, you should wait until it dries.

Final stage

In most cases, after the concealer, the finishing touch is applied - powder and blush. For uniform distribution after previous masking operations, powder is applied with a large brush from the periphery to the center with patting movements. This technique will visually even out the texture of the face. All areas should be covered, including the movable eyelid, nose and nasolabial folds. Blush in dark tones will deepen the cheekbones and emphasize the oval of the face. You can add freshness with light tones applied to the upper cheeks.

The product is selected to match the skin tone or a little lighter, but not otherwise. The right product will help mask all facial skin imperfections. Before purchasing, you need to test it in daylight.

Types of concealers

Concealers come in several types depending on consistency:

  1. Liquid. It applies and blends easily, covering redness and bruising, but does not cover up pimples and blackheads well. Designed for sensitive areas of the skin: eye and lip areas. Suitable for dry and aging skin. Apply in the same way as foundation. It has a thicker structure, is more versatile and is available in the form of a palette.
  2. Pencil or stick more dense structure. This type is suitable for masking acne, age spots, spider veins, scars and wrinkles. Conceals redness and unevenness. Apply precisely and do not smudge.
  3. Dry(mineral). It is made on the basis of powder. In addition to masking skin imperfections, it removes excess fat from the skin and has a healing effect. Not suitable for sensitive eye area or for concealing fine wrinkles.

The most common mistakes when using concealer

You need to know how to apply concealer correctly to avoid using it incorrectly. So, you should not apply concealer to dry, unmoisturized skin without foundation, and you should not apply the product to an open wound.

An incorrectly chosen shade, especially for light skin types, does not hide imperfections, but only emphasizes them. It is worth remembering, in addition, that the concealer is not applied on top of the pimples, but only around them, gradually approaching the center of the acne.

Using heavier concealer around the eyes tends to clog the product in pores and wrinkles. The product cannot be blended on dry skin or with your fingers - their temperature will only increase the drying process; you need to warm up your hands before applying. For oily skin Only a brush will do. It should be cleaned after use.

Makeup should only be applied in a well-lit room, otherwise the face will look awkward and spots will be visible on it.

Most girls cannot imagine themselves without makeup. Everyone over 17, even if they don’t constantly use decorative cosmetics, have at least some attribute of it. As practice shows, this is a classic set: mascara, powder, eyeliner, lipstick or gloss and foundation. You will rarely find eye shadow or blush in it.

More advanced ladies who are comfortable with cosmetics have many different means, brushes, eyebrow pencils, bronzers, concealers, primers, highlighters, tints and everything like that.

Not everyone knows the purpose of many of these things. They came to our Russian world not so long ago - during this decade. They gained popularity when they started giving tutorials on how to apply makeup en masse on YouTube.

And if everyone knows what a foundation is, not many know what a concealer is. Concealer is very similar to foundation and they are often used in tandem. It is more dense and is applied with a pencil. It is applied to hide skin unevenness. Hide bruises under the eyes.

What to apply first? Experts say that you need foundation first, then concealer, but not all girls agree with this. They claim that in this order, the concealer does not hide imperfections. But it's all about incorrect application.

Take a special tonic or alcohol and wipe your face to degrease. Let the skin dry. Next, moisturize your skin with water, using a spray bottle on your face. Concealer is applied to a slightly damp face, but not wet, of course.

To prevent it from clumping, do not shade it with warm hands, only with cold ones. Do not apply it directly to your face. First, cover your skin with a thin layer of foundation. Watch the color so that there is no strong difference in different areas.

If you have problem skin around your eyes, it is better to buy a concealer. The corrector is better than concealer and completely masks skin imperfections. If you have bruises, swelling on your face or constant red inflammation, you need a green corrector. There is also beige to disguise other imperfections.

Your best bet is to watch some makeup tutorials. Fortunately, now you don’t have to pay for them, you can just go online.

What is a corrector?

It’s easy to guess about the basic purpose of the corrector, even if you’ve never held this product in your hands: the name speaks for itself. The corrector solves minor local problems related to skin tone: hides pimples, redness and age spots, disguises dark circles and bruises under the eyes, and evens out skin color.

How is corrector different from concealer?

Corrector and concealer are foundations that are often confused with each other. And there are several reasons for this: firstly, they actually partially duplicate each other’s functions. Secondly, some cosmetics manufacturers do not distinguish between these categories, releasing one product to disguise all minor skin imperfections - and call it either a concealer or a corrector. But in fact there is a difference between them.

You can read more about the functions and features of the concealer in this material.

Types of face correctors

Choose the appropriate proofreader format depending on the task you face.

Liquid corrector

The most popular format: liquid correctors are loved primarily because they are easy to use.

  • As a rule, the kit includes a convenient applicator, like a lip gloss, with which it is easy to apply the corrector both to spots and to larger areas.
  • Many of the liquid concealers can be used around the eyes to hide dark circles under the eyes. However, make sure that the corrector is not too dense in texture and does not get caught in small folds of the skin. If dark circles are too noticeable, apply the product in layers: first spread the corrector in a translucent layer and blend well. Allow the product to absorb and apply a second coat.
  • Liquid correctors are produced in different colors, from pink to green: these are intended for color correction of the skin.
  • Sometimes you can see the inscription “reflective corrector” on the packaging; they are used in the area around the eyes to hide small swellings, or used instead of a highlighter.

Corrector stick

The second most popular format of concealer, which is very convenient to take with you: it definitely won’t smear in your bag, and you can use it to disguise an inopportune pimple even in a taxi on the way to a party. This product has a creamy texture, so it spreads quickly and easily over the skin and is perfect for girls with dry skin. To hide a pimple or a small scar, proceed according to the following scheme: precisely apply the product to the problem area, wait until it “settles” on the skin a little (20-30 seconds), and then blend the edges with your fingers or a sponge. Apply a little powder on top to seal the result.

Pencil corrector

The corrector pencil has a high density and dry texture; antibacterial components are often added to its composition, so this product is ideal for girls with oily and problem skin. In addition, this concealer has the highest staying power. In addition to its main function, such a pencil also takes on several others.

  • Using a corrector pencil, you can visually enlarge your lips: apply a nude pencil, slightly extending beyond their contour. If, on the contrary, you want to make your lips a little smaller, outline them strictly along the contour.
  • The pencil can be used instead of a primer for the eyes or lips: shade the entire surface of the lips with corrector, and apply bright lipstick on top - the shade will be more saturated and the lipstick will last longer. Do the same if you use bright shadows.
  • You can use a corrector pencil to highlight the area under the eyebrow to visually lift it.
  • Line the mucous membrane of your eyes with a pencil to make your eyes look more wide-open.

Cream corrector

Concealer has a creamy consistency and is usually sold in small jars or palettes of four to six colors: they are useful if you need to solve several different skin problems. In general, cream correctors are universal (they are even used to correct the shape of the face), they have a fairly dense consistency and high covering ability, so they can be used to disguise scars and dark spots. Cream correctors can be applied to different areas of the face with a brush, sponge or even your fingers. Best suited for normal to dry skin, may be too rich for oily skin.

Foundation corrector

On occasion, it can replace foundation, as it has a similar consistency. Choose a shade according to the same rules that you follow when choosing a foundation: it should perfectly match your skin tone.

Dry corrector

Not the most common concealer format, which, however, is ideal for oily skin, as it has a mattifying effect. Use to correct redness or age spots: in the first case, a corrector with green pigments, in the second - with purple pigments. Apply regular powder to match your skin tone on top.

How to apply concealer to the face: step-by-step diagrams

Concealer can be used for different purposes, and the techniques for applying it certainly vary. We'll tell you about the basic techniques that will help you use face corrector.

Corrector for the skin around the eyes

There are several techniques for applying concealer under the eyes. You can use the corrector to draw thin lines diverging from the inner corner of the eye, or put several dots under the lower eyelid. But you should always adhere to one method of shading the applied product: correctly shade the corrector in the shape of an inverted triangle, and not stretching it towards the inner corners of the eyes. Please note that the corrector should be either skin tone or slightly lighter.

How to cover up bruises and dark circles under the eyes?

  • If the dark circles under the eyes are too noticeable, use a yellow, orange or pinkish shade of corrector, apply a corrector on top of a tone lighter than your skin, or immediately treat the area with foundation.
  • To hide dark circles, also use a color corrector. If you have bright skin, use pink, peach suits medium skin tones, orange suits dark skin.
  • Apply color corrector in the same way as a regular nude or concealer.

Corrector color palettes: how to use

Color correctors are products that help solve several problems: mask redness, dark circles under the eyes, age spots and other minor skin imperfections. To find out which one you need, read our instructions.

Purple corrector

  • Lilac tones neutralize yellowness, so a concealer of this color will help to cope with a dull complexion (in this case, apply the corrector to the entire face) and hide small age spots. Be sure to spread foundation on top.
  • In addition to the fact that lavender corrector removes yellowness, it also gives the skin radiance.
  • If you are severely sunburned, apply a corrective primer with blue pigments to your face. It will help soften the effect a little.
  • If you have dark or tanned skin, do not use a cool-toned product: it is unlikely to improve the situation.

Yellow corrector

  • Yellow correctors are ideal for neutralizing and brightening purple and blue spots, so use them to correct dark circles under the eyes and fine spider veins.
  • They are also suitable for covering dark scars and acne marks.
  • If you don't have a yellow concealer on hand, try using a foundation with a yellowish undertone: it can also cope with slight redness.

Pink corrector

  • Conceals dark circles under the eyes: hides blue, green and purple colors. Dark circles of these colors are most often found in people with fair and medium skin tones. Therefore, if you notice that small veins around the nose or dark circles under the eyes look greenish, feel free to correct them with a pink corrector.
  • If you have pale skin, choose a salmon shade; peach is more suitable for olive or tanned skin.
  • On pale skin, a pink concealer will also help hide age spots.

White corrector

White corrector is a fairly rare occurrence. As a rule, they are used to dilute foundations, concealers and correctors of too dark a shade in order to ultimately obtain a suitable color.

Green corrector

Green is the best color to neutralize redness, so this concealer is ideal for covering up pimples, spider veins, and a reddish complexion. To hide more serious flaws (for example, sunburn), mix the green corrector with foundation and apply to the problem area. If you have a reddish complexion, use a green color correcting primer.

Orange corrector

The most important correction product for dark skin. Orange concealer hides age spots, brownish circles under the eyes and other dark spots. It will also help to slightly lighten the dark nasolabial folds and the area in the corners of the lips, and neutralize dark circles under the eyes.

What is concealer?

This product is often confused with foundation due to their external properties. Concealer is a thick cream of various shades of beige, ranging from almost transparent to dark, almost brown flowers. It is designed to disguise skin imperfections, such as dark circles under the eyes, age spots, rosacea, acne and even wrinkles.

Concealers often contain reflective particles that can replace highlighter, giving the skin a healthy, soft glow and highlighting the desired areas. This helps hide wrinkles and is also a good help in sculpting the face. In addition, in such a product you can often find vitamins and minerals that can get rid of rashes and improve skin tone - so this product not only makes you look beautiful, it is also good for the skin.

There are three types of concealers, differing in consistency and areas of application. Let's talk in more detail about each of them:

  • Liquid concealer. This product is usually sold in the form of a palette; it is slightly thicker than the average foundation. Very light and weightless, therefore it can only disguise dark circles under the eyes or redness on the skin: with acne, clogged pores and other major shortcomings, it will not cope.

  • Concealer in the form of a stick or pencil. Quite dense, intended for spot application in a thin layer, almost impossible to shade. It hides acne, scars, wrinkles, and age spots well, but is not at all suitable for the skin around the eyes. Apply in a spiral and very carefully.

  • Mineral concealer. This product is available in dry form and resembles powder. In addition to correcting skin imperfections, it helps with mattification and has an antibacterial effect, so it is an ideal option for those with oily and problem skin. Not used on the area around the eyes or to cover wrinkles.

In order for your makeup to look natural and natural, you need to know how to use concealer correctly.

Rules for applying concealer

The most important rule when applying concealer: do it in a well-lit room, otherwise you risk turning your face into a striped-spotted horror. You need to be very careful about whether the product is well shaded and how it “sits” on the skin - daylight or properly installed bright lamps are ideal for these purposes.

Take a responsible approach to choosing the shade of your concealer. The wrong color will only highlight the imperfections on your skin, this is especially true for “snow white” people - a product just half a tone darker than the desired one will instantly reveal your unsuccessful attempt at facial correction. It is equally important to choose the right undertone - cool or warm, depending on your skin. If this is not done, the concealer will become very “yellow” or “pink” on the face.

Concealer should not be applied to dry skin that is not covered with foundation or at least not moisturized - the product simply will not blend in such conditions and will remain lumpy in one area! Moreover, it is also applied in a special way - only with a damp brush or sponge, never dry. Of course, this method does not apply to sticks and pencils; when using them, you should take care of the level of hydration of your skin in advance.

The area around the eyes is treated exclusively with liquid concealer. Using thick products for this purpose will only highlight wrinkles and dark circles more, because it will not be possible to blend it properly. But pimples are covered with pencils and sticks: be careful when using them, do not smear them with a thick layer on top of the inflammation. This product is applied around the blackhead in a spiral, slowly approaching the center and leaving no sharp boundaries.

The T-zone and center of the chin are covered with concealer a shade or two lighter than the shade of foundation, while the contour of the nose and cheekbones is emphasized with a shade darker. A light concealer is applied under the eyebrow and on the corners of the eyelids, giving expressiveness to the eyes. The boundaries of the oval of the face are worked out using tone-on-tone with natural color skin of the face and neck, so as not to create the effect of a “rubber mask”.

After you finish applying the concealer, wait for it to dry completely. If afterward you notice that the application boundaries are still visible, apply dense powder or a thin layer of foundation on top.

Concealer and foundation: what is the sequence?

And finally, the most main question: What should you apply to your skin first, foundation or concealer? The answer is clear: foundation is used first.

After you cleanse and moisturize your skin, and then apply a makeup base, the evening out of your complexion begins. However, if you have severe redness or inflammation on your skin, before applying foundation, BB or CC cream, it is important not to miss one more point: dot application of a corrector of a suitable color, which will help make your complexion uniform.

Important! Concealer and corrector are completely different cosmetic products, and they are also applied in completely different ways. While concealer is used before foundation to camouflage uneven skin tone, concealer is used after you've evened out your complexion. Don't confuse them, it can ruin your entire makeup!

And only after you have applied foundation to your skin should you use concealer. It is used both to hide imperfections and to sculpt the face, and in both cases this product has proven itself to be excellent. Concealer is applied from the edges of the area that needs improvement and smoothly moves to the center.

Use foundation and concealer correctly and your makeup will look amazing!

Video on the topic:

In the terminology of makeup artists, the words “concealer” and “corrector” refer to the same product that can be used to disguise skin imperfections. For example, rashes, pimples, dark circles under the eyes.

That is, concealer and corrector are one and the same product. This is the most important thing to remember.

A small volume of concealer (corrector) contains more pigment than a foundation, which is why it covers imperfections better and with less effort.

However, sometimes foundation can easily replace concealer. For example, if it is dense and covers the natural skin pigment well. If you use foundation with a light texture, then in certain areas of your face you need to apply concealer.

How to use concealer and why

It is worth remembering that concealer is a product that evens out the complexion, but not the relief. That is, with the help of concealer you can cover up a pimple, but it will not equalize the “bump” with the surface of the skin.

Concealer will also not be able to hide the relief of the eye socket, but you can visually slightly correct it. To do this, apply a light shade of concealer. thin line along the tear duct and blend lightly with your fingertip. Then apply your usual shade of concealer to the entire eye area. Be careful when applying concealer to those areas of the face where there are flaking or fluff - there is a risk of emphasizing them.

You should not apply powder over concealer in the area around the eyes, as powder absorbs the moisture necessary for youthful eyelid skin.

What are color correctors and why use them?

Color correctors are an addition to the classic corrector and foundation. They are most often turned to when conventional products do not cope fully.

The main task of color correctors is to neutralize excess of a particular color and even out skin tone.

  • Purple concealer Well neutralizes yellowish skin tint, yellow bruises, pigmentation, very dark circles under the eyes.
  • Yellow Conceals blue-violet bruises and veins. It also warms up the skin tone.
  • Orange eliminates blue defects (circles under the eyes on dark skin).
  • Pink concealer Conceals dark circles and green veins.
  • Green concealer the most common, as it saves from redness on the face, pimples, spider veins, and rosacea.

Color correctors are best applied with a brush after moisturizer and primer, before foundation and corrector. You don't need to blend the product too much, otherwise it won't cover the problem area.

  2. The corrector is used if you need to disguise circles under the eyes or a pimple; if this is not the case, then a moisturizer and foundation are enough. and if you use a corrector, then apply it separately and only powder is used in these places where the corrector is applied, i.e. apply foundation everywhere except those places where the corrector will be used.

  4. So figure out what's best...
  5. Now I’ll tell you the technique ----- from start to finish!!! !

It is better to apply any foundation with brushes, and not with sponges; the brush will take exactly as much tone as necessary; The sponge moves frequently and absorbs a lot extra money.
When applied with a brush, the border between tone and skin becomes completely invisible. The foundation layer itself is thinner, which means it looks more natural.

Concealer under the eyes is very convenient to apply with a brush. cat. we apply shadows. It is very soft and will not harm the delicate skin under the eyes. You can also use it around your nose to disguise pimples and all sorts of skin imperfections.
First of all, when applied with a brush, the border between tone and skin becomes completely invisible. The foundation layer itself is thinner, which means it looks more natural
and now more specifically - in prof. my makeup. To make your face look perfect I use corrector, concealer, compact tone, bronzer, blush, shimmer, lip pencil, lip gloss, eye shadow in 2-3 colors, eyeliner, mascara, eyebrow pencil
First, apply appropriate moisturizing creams to the face and under the eyes, and balm to the lips.
Then under the eyes, up to the very edge of the eyelashes and not forgetting the outer corner (it is often dark, and due to this the eye droops), apply a corrector (not to be confused with concealer!). After the corrector, concealer is placed there, under the eyes, but not under the eyelashes, but lower, along the bone. It is needed to match the pink spot of the corrector with the overall skin tone. If necessary, the corrector is also applied to spot defects on the face. Don’t worry, if the cosmetics are of high quality, nothing will get stuck in the folds and wrinkles!! !
The tone is applied next, you can use a compact or a cream... whatever you prefer
After the tone comes bronzer, which is used for correction. it can also be applied to the upper part of the cheekbones, it will give freshness to the face
    then blush
then the eyes - shadows, eyeliner (I don’t like clear lines, so I shade them), eyebrows and lips, and in the end, all the beauty was polished with shimmer, this will give the face that very wet shimmer that a lot of people are chasing. It is so delicate that you could even wear it to work at the bank.

  6. Before everything, you can apply a base - this is a colorless emulsion, like a face cream - it evens out and protects the skin.
First, foundation, then in problem areas, apply corrector using patting movements!
You can set it with powder - light texture and preferably loose - it is better to apply it with a brush.
The properties of the corrector are thorough camouflage of problem areas, it has a denser texture than toner, so it is applied to selected areas, and toner is used on the entire face.
    Toner and powder are interchangeable.
For dry skin it is better to use foundation, for oily skin it is better to use powder.
Powder is the least burdensome on the skin, it is less cuprous.
In any case, it is better not to use it when possible,
decorative cosmetics, give the skin a rest.
Because no matter what the manufacturers come up with decorative cosmetics about the different components included in the composition - it is alien to the skin and burdens it.
This can be seen in the example of people who constantly use tone on their face - over time, they can no longer do without it!
  7. I apply foundation first, then concealer, because if you apply it the other way around, the concealer may rub off (and you will have to reapply it..)
  8. first corrector, then foundation, then, if necessary, powder... Only this way and no other way...
  9. The corrector is applied first to unwanted areas, and then the tone. full face cream
  10. first corrector, then foundation, and then powder for the T-zone
  11. Generally speaking, concealer is applied to disguise small pimples. Therefore, foundation first. And makeup artists first apply concealer.
  12. First a corrector, then a foundation, then a corrector again. Powder on top for matte finish. And blush, preferably. Then the unevenness on the skin will be less noticeable. I'm in teenage years That's the only way I was saved...
