7. Drill holes along each tile (unless you inserted the wire pieces before the plaster has set).

8. Pull the threads through the holes and connect all the parts into one vase.

9. Place the vase on the plastic base and start pouring plaster to make the bottom. You can also insert five pieces of wire where you want the holes to be (see image below).

10. When the plaster has almost hardened, pull out the bottom that needs to be leveled.

11. Make holes (if you didn’t use wire for the holes in advance), attach them to the walls of the vase with thread.

You can paint the vase. In this example, shoe polish mixed with vegetable oil. This mixture was rubbed in with a cloth. After drying, the tiles were coated with nitro varnish.
