• attaches the surname of the other spouse to his surname, unless otherwise provided by the laws of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. However, the combination of surnames is not allowed if the premarital surname of at least one of the spouses is a double one. Otherwise, "multi-storey" surnames would begin to appear.
