If your house or apartment has a children's bathroom - that's great. But the design and decoration of a children's bathroom requires special knowledge and skills. Let's look at a few principles that should be followed when arranging it:

1. Remember ergonomics and safety

The bathroom for the child must be equipped with appropriate plumbing. Choose small toilets, bathtubs and wash basins. Make sure that the ceramic edges are not too sharp. For very young children, additional stools should be provided for the child to stand on. Be sure to lay mats or use non-slip mats on the floor.

2. Experiment with brightness

A children's bathroom is probably the best springboard for creative experiments. Compared to a room for rest and work, the child does not spend so much time here. That is why do not be afraid of anything and experiment - choose bright colors and bold combinations.

3. Don't overdo the tiles

In a child’s bathroom, it makes sense to use facing tiles to a minimum (about 100-120 cm high from the floor + shower area. The use of special paints for wall decoration will be more right decision. In addition, subject to advice number 2, it will be much easier for you to change the color of the walls in the children's bathroom in a few days without spending extra money and effort. You can simply buy the paint you like and easily make a yellow wall, say, turquoise.

Same simple solution Moisture resistant wallpaper can also become.

4. Use stickers and stencils

Don't be too conservative. In the children's bathroom, let your imagination run wild. Order your favorite wall sticker design, hand cut stencils or just paint on the wall, make some cute writing. Believe me, the child will appreciate your efforts.

5. Although the bathroom, but still for children

We are all very familiar with the purpose of bathrooms and shower rooms. However, a children's bathroom requires special equipment. Hang the best children's drawings on the walls, put a few toys on the shelves that are not afraid of water. Buy a set of bright and cheerful towels, multi-colored bathrobe and slippers. Make this room bright and cheerful.

And finally advice: Get your kids involved in decorating their rooms

Where possible, include children. Draw together, choose the color of the walls and the design of textiles. By doing this, you will give the child a sense of their importance and contribute to the development of creativity. In addition, this way you will be sure that the child will definitely like this room made with his or her participation.
