What to do with scars. How to get rid of acne scars quickly and effectively? Further scar removal

As part of the project “Are there problems? No problems!" our reader Alla Garina went to the clinic "Beauty Bureau ComeMode"(Peter) to get rid of the scar on the cheek and the effects of acne.
Last fall, we announced a portal dedicated to aesthetic medicine and cosmetology www.1nep.ru. And they invited girls with a certain set of aesthetic problems who want to get rid of them and are not afraid to talk about it. We forwarded all the letters to the doctors and together with them made the final decision. One of the girls who passed the selection and was among the finalists was Alla Garina from St. Petersburg. Here is her story.

“I loved to squeeze acne since I was 13 years old. IN adolescence I even had a ritual - to sit in front of a magnifying mirror and squeeze out every pimple, every black dot on my face. Then I stopped with this disgrace, I even stopped touching my face on purpose, but the acne did not go anywhere. Now I'm 28, and the problem is still relevant for me. My face was not perfect for almost a day - if I did not suffer from a jumped pimple, then I simply lived with an uneven skin surface. To be honest, you can even get used to it.

But a year ago, in addition to everything, I also had a scar.

It all started with the fact that a subcutaneous tissue appeared on the cheek. As an experienced person, I knew that you can either squeeze it out or leave it alone, and it will pass. I chose the second option. But for six months, he did not resolve. He lived under the skin, like a bubble with some substance inside, which, when pressed, flowed from one side to the other. Neither ichthyolka nor other creams took it. In the end, I freaked out, pierced him with a needle and pressed. Then there was a spectacle not for the faint of heart - on the mirror there was a stream of pus with blood, and the blood was dark and did not stop for a long time. To squeeze everything out, I had to make a puncture in several places. The next day, this place festered again and history repeated itself. And when the wound began to heal, I realized that something was wrong: the skin in this place somehow strangely sagged, pressed in. So I got a scar.

In hot pursuit, I did 4 nanoperforation procedures, with an interval of a month. The effect was good, too. But when a little more than a month passed after the fourth procedure, the edema subsided completely and it became clear that the scar, as it was red and sagging, remained. The procedure only slightly smoothed the edges of the scar, but it was still terribly conspicuous and did not lend itself to any correction with makeup.

I began to learn to live with the new features of my face. I switched to hormonal contraceptives, global inflammation disappeared. I began to make homemade masks from badyagi, which slightly whitened my face, removing bluish spots, but without affecting the scar in any way. When I saw that my favorite BeautyInsider bloggers were announcing a recruitment for a project to combat scars and scars on the body, I wrote, not really hoping for anything.

START

We met with the curator of my treatment, Ekaterina Glagoleva, a cosmetologist at ComeMode Beauty Bureau, and discussed the treatment plan. Ekaterina said that she would have to do 4 biological peels 2B Bio Beauty with a break of 7-10 days (to even out the skin texture and slightly smooth the transition between healthy skin and scar), and then fill in the “gaps” on the scar with injections. Ekaterina showed me photos of past clients of the Bureau - terrible peeling in the process and excellent results after. I left the clinic inspired.

This is what I looked like before treatment:

A few days later I met my cosmetologist-esthetician Yulia Leiba. She explained the essence of the first stage - peeling: “It is necessary to start the regeneration process - through the active exfoliation of dead cells. New beautiful skin should literally hatch from under the old, problematic, with stagnant post-acne spots. She warned that old skin should peel off on its own; so that new scars do not form, the process cannot be forced. In general, it seemed that the treatment could hardly be called pleasant. But what can you do to get rid of the scar ?!

It turned out that peeling is a dry marsh-colored powder, which is diluted with an activator and kneaded to a homogeneous mass. The diluted mass is applied to the face (mainly on the cheeks, chin and the same scar) and rubbed into the skin in a circular motion. The first sensations are contradictory: the peeling has a specific aroma and texture, and at first it seems to me that the face is smeared with sand with the smell of a swamp (a similar smell in badyagi).

I have a high pain threshold, so the first application is almost painless. The second layer is applied on top of the first and also rubbed in a circular motion. Taking into account the fact that the first layer already has time to dry in some places, the “sand” on the face becomes drier and it starts to burn, as after sunburn. And the beautician continues to rub the peeling on me, which no longer seems to be sand, but sandpaper. The third and fourth layers are accompanied by pain. Julia tries to make slightly slower movements, but the pain is felt all the same. By the end of the procedure, I no longer consider that I have a high pain threshold, and I ask for mercy.

Then the peeling is gently (and long enough) washed off. At this moment I lie and squeak - my whole face hurts. Followed by SkinCeuticals Serum for detoxification and deep hydration. Immediately on the serum - the Japanese Metatron mask, which becomes a real salvation: it cools and soothes. With this mask, I lie for 10 minutes and slowly come to my senses. The final step is the application of a cream for oily and combination skin SkinCeuticals. After peeling, any touch on the face is accompanied by a tingling sensation. Hundreds of small needles seem to get stuck in the skin, which are better not to touch. But, of course, it is impossible not to hurt them.

Throughout the procedure, I can't wait to look at myself in the mirror. Imagination draws a crimson face with which you have to go home. However, when I saw my reflection, I was a little disappointed - my face was like a face, as pale in winter as it was before the procedure, with a slight blush, although a little swollen.

There are various methods of dealing with scars. The most radical is the surgical method, but not everyone is ready to go under the doctor's knife to get rid of the scar. And this is not always necessary, especially when it comes to young and small defects. Treatment of scars and scars folk remedies can bring quite positive results, without leaving home.

How to remove scars at home

Regardless of the cause of a scar, it is always possible to find the right way to deal with it. It is best, of course, not to delay and take the first steps immediately. Be prepared for the fact that the defect will not disappear completely, but it is quite possible to make it less noticeable.

While the scar is fresh, a special cream for removing scars on the face or other parts of the body will speed up its healing. One of the most famous is Contratubex. You can start using it immediately after removing the stitches. Sometimes this is enough.

When figuring out how to remove old scars at home, you should understand that it will not be as effective as, for example, using a laser. Although laser scar resurfacing, reviews of which can be easily found on the Internet, copes with any type of scarring, not everyone can afford such a rather expensive procedure. In addition, during its implementation, there are a number of certain contraindications.

Chemical peel at home

Removing scars with folk remedies is possible thanks to chemical peeling when the correction can be of different intensity:

For superficial peeling, calcium chloride is suitable, which can be bought at any pharmacy. The solution is applied in 8 layers, while before applying each next one, it is necessary that the previous layer dries out. Leave everything like this for 5-10 minutes, after which the medicine is rolled up with soapy hands with baby soap. In order to get any effect, such a procedure must be carried out regularly and for a long time.

Middle peeling is done with aspirin, honey, water and a choice of milk, kefir or yogurt. The mixture is applied to the skin for 15 minutes, after which it is washed off with warm water.

Home cosmetics

Scar removal at home can be done various means to help make the scar less noticeable. For this they often use:

  • aloe,
  • lemon juice,
  • onion juice,
  • cucumber juice.

Aloe has healing properties and is able to help the wound heal without scarring. Lemon contains bleaching agents, making the scar less noticeable, while honey and cucumber will help smooth it out. Onions contain enzymes that trigger skin regeneration.

In addition, you can make various homemade masks, the reviews about them are very impressive. Among the most famous and effective are:

1.
Vitamin mask. To do this, you just need to purchase vitamin E at the pharmacy and apply it daily to the problem area. If desired, you can mix it with any oil, such as jojoba or peach.

2. clay mask. Clay diluted with water can be applied daily to the scar. The most suitable will be green, but you can take any other.

3. Mask of melon seeds. To do this, the seeds are dried and crushed into powder, adding a little eggshell. All this is mixed with olive oil and applied at night to the affected area as a compress. The duration of the procedure should be at least a month.

Also famous for their healing effect of baths with sea salt. Salt not only relaxes, but also removes toxins from the body, and also has antiseptic properties.

In the photo you can see the amazing results that can be achieved through the use of folk methods. Few people think that such seemingly ordinary products can reproduce such an effect.

Prevention of scars and scars

Like any disease, scarring is easier to prevent than to treat. To do this, use the following guidelines.

1. Follow the safety measures. Be careful when using hot, sharp and other objects that are potentially dangerous. Do not ignore when you need to wear a helmet, gloves or goggles.

2. Increase skin elasticity. Eat skin-improving products and use special creams to prevent stretch marks.

3. Stay hygienic. If it so happens that the wound is still received, ensure that it is clean. Make sure that it does not fester and an infection enters.

4. Eat right. In order for wounds to heal quickly, it is necessary to eat protein, zinc, and vitamins.

5. Control your time in the sun. Direct sunlight will make your scar stand out even more than the rest of your skin.

Scars, as everyone knows, adorn men, but this does not apply to the fair sex at all. Many girls are concerned about the question: "How to get rid of scars and scars at home?". In this article, we will not only give an answer to the question posed, but also give effective ways to solve the described misfortune.

Types of scars and scars on the skin of the face, why remain

At this point in time, many classifications of the division of scars and scars are known, but the following five are the most famous of the main ones:

  1. Atrophic scars. They are formed after severe acne, as well as as a result of multiple minor injuries - as a result, peeling of the skin or muscles occurs. Scars of this type go deep into the skin, creating a feeling of friability.
  2. Keloid scars. The reason for their appearance is excessive collagen production. Such scars rise strongly above the skin, often they are dark or red in color. Keloid scars are categorized benign tumors, as over time they are able to grow on the surface of the skin.
  3. Hypertrophic scars. Visually, these are scars of a reddish color that stand out against the background of the skin. They are very easy to confuse with keloid scars, but over time they can become colorless or become more flattened. This category of scars does not tend to grow over the skin.
  4. Tight scars. Most often appear after burns, as the skin at the site of damage is pulled together and wrinkled.
  5. Striae. They are a very specific type of scars that can appear as a result of too rapid weight loss, during pregnancy, and so on, while there is no damage or breakage of the skin. The scar tissue begins to sink into the skin and becomes less noticeable over time.

What species can you get rid of yourself

Unfortunately, at home it is not possible to remove large scars (remaining after surgical interventions or damage to the skin).

You can, of course, use special ointments (for example, Contractubex and others), but they will only be effective on fresh scars and will not help you get rid of old ones.

You can get rid of small scars left after vaccinations or acne with the help of ordinary peeling. The procedure is performed with a regular nail file, and then a five-day break is taken to restore the skin.

There are also many more methods of getting rid of scars at home, read about them below.

How to make less visible (lighten)

  2. Cucumber juice also has brightening properties and can be used as a compress. You need to grate a fresh cucumber, squeeze the juice from it, soak a piece of gauze with it and apply it on the scar.
  3. You can use preparations containing bodyaga. Mix badyaga with clay in a ratio of 0.5 to 2, add water to make a paste-like consistency, smear the scar with the composition and leave to dry. Repeat these compresses every other day.
  4. Get special absorbable ointments (like Mederma, Contractubex). As a result of prolonged use, the skin will brighten.
  5. Use skin whitening creams (they should contain hydroquinone, fruit acids, kojic acid).
  6. Perform nutmeg compresses - you will need to combine honey with nutmeg in a ratio of 4 to 1, apply the mixture to the scar. They also try to do the procedure every other day.

Update: October 2018

Scars and scars appear on the skin due to damage to it: these can be cuts, injuries, piercings, unsuccessful tattoos, surgeries, burns, and even acne and chicken pox. The location of scars on visible parts of the body and face significantly impairs the quality of life and forces a person to constantly mask them.

The modern level of development of medicine and cosmetology allows you to eliminate almost all types of scars and scars and permanently get rid of ugly marks on your own skin. In this article, we will look at the main methods of scar removal practiced today.

Scars are treated by dermatologists, cosmetologists and cosmetic surgeons.

Scars vs scars - what's the difference?

In fact, there is no difference between the concepts, and both represent the growth of dense connective tissue in the area of previously damaged skin due to injuries, surgical incisions, burns, abscesses, etc., and are the final stage of tissue repair. Scar tissue is devoid of sweat and sebaceous glands, hair follicles. The concept of "scar" is not used in official medicine and is typical for everyday speech of people.

Scar classification

In medical terminology, there are several types of scars, each of which has distinctive features:

Normotrophic scar

It is formed on the skin during a natural, uncomplicated process of scarring of the dermis after damage and is characterized by:

  • flat, not protruding above healthy skin form;
  • color close to the shade of healthy skin.

atrophic scar

It is formed after acne, pimples and poor-quality removal of papillomas, moles and is different:

  • a shape in the form of a hole or recess, i.e. sinks relatively healthy skin;
  • flabby connective tissue due to low levels of collagen.

Hypertrophic scar

It remains after damage to the skin of a different nature: burns, lacerations, incorrect treatment of traumatic injuries, inflammation, etc. This type of scar is characterized by:

  • protruding above healthy skin form;
  • pinkish color;
  • often - trophic ulcers, peeling or tissue tears.

Keloid scar

May occur after surgery, trauma, vaccination, tattooing, burns, insect bites with large-scale damage, genetic predisposition to keloidosis. Characteristic:

  • protruding above the skin, tumor-like form;
  • bumpy surface;
  • sinking central part (4-5 years after formation);
  • bright pink, red or bluish color.

Stages of scar tissue formation

  • Inflammation and subsequent epithelialization (7-10 days). Swelling and inflammation gradually decrease, granulations form, and the wound heals by primary intention.
  • Formation of a "young" scar (30-90 days). Growth of collagen and elastin fibers, lining them up in bundles. Paleness and thickening of the scar due to reduced blood circulation.
  • Final transformation (4-12 months). Vessels die, collagen fibers stretch, the scar turns pale and thickens.

Prevention of the formation of a problematic scar

Complex, malformed scars, self-healing serious wounds, keloid scars are much more difficult to treat in the future. To prevent this, you should:

  • apply immediately for medical care with serious injury to the skin, especially on the face, as well as even with minor injuries, when the edges of the wound diverge;
  • properly care for the wound, prevent its suppuration, daily treat the wound surface with antiseptics;
  • use special absorbable silicone plates, which are recommended at an early stage of the formation of a hypertrophic or keloid scar to stop their growth.

Indications for scar removal and timing of correction

Indications are classified into medical and cosmetic.

  • Removal of scars for medical reasons is carried out in cases where the scar causes functional disorders in the area where it is located: it deforms the tissue, interferes with joint flexion, etc.
  • For cosmetic purposes, scar removal is indicated in cases where the pathological tissue worsens the patient's quality of life, causes psychological discomfort and complexes.

Each owner of such a “decoration” wants to get rid of it as soon as possible. The following factors influence the possible timing of the correction:

  • the location of the scar;
  • the nature and extent of the damage;
  • age and history of the patient;
  • features of blood supply;
  • local immunity;
  • hereditary factors.

Not later than one month after the operation, the scars located in the area of the joints and restricting movement are removed. In other cases, the correction is carried out only after 1-2 years, when the tissue matures.

Modern methods of removing scars and scars

It should be noted that the correction method is selected individually, in some cases several methods are used to get rid of scars. To achieve the proper aesthetic result, each of the described methods is assigned to several procedures, between which they make the necessary break. Treatment is expensive.

All treatments are contraindicated during pregnancy childhood(up to 16-18 years old - an exception - the deterioration of the function of organs and tissues), with severe somatic and oncological pathologies, hyperthermia, and also have a number of specific restrictions.

It should be understood that even with a very good visible effect, a recurrence and growth of the scar is possible!

Indications Execution technique Result Contraindications

Electrostatic massage is the effect on tissues with an alternating electrostatic field.

All types of scars at an early stage of formation It is performed using a special apparatus that generates an electrostatic field, which, in turn, causes vibration and rhythmic deformation of tissues and improves trophism and microcirculation of tissues. Acceleration of regeneration processes
  • intolerance to the physiotherapeutic method;
  • acute infections (general and skin);
  • thrombophlebitis;
  • tuberculosis;
  • erysipelas;
  • electronic implantable devices

Peeling with chemicals (salicylic acid, retinol) or fruit (lactic, citric) acids

At removal of the upper layer of scar tissue and stimulation of regenerative processes. Often combined with the introduction of hormonal drugs and preliminary mechanical abrasion of tissues

Keloid, atrophic (at an early stage) and hypertrophic (after formation) scars Depending on the type and size of the scar, superficial, medium or deep peeling using a phased approach. There is tissue death and subsequent stimulation of the growth of elastin and collagen, smoothing of the skin relief and lightening of hyperpigmentation. Smoothing the borders of "healthy skin-scar", leveling the relief, brightening the color of the scar
  • intolerance to the active substance;
  • tissue inflammation;
  • acute infectious processes

Dermabrasion is a mechanical removal of the surface layer of the skin, carried out with special brushes or cutters.

Normo- and hypertrophic scars The procedure takes place under anesthesia. The scar tissue is removed to the top layer of the dermis and a bandage is applied. In place of the former scar, a scab appears, which in no case should be removed by force, it disappears on its own on the 7th day The scar becomes less or completely invisible
  • inflammatory processes at the site of exposure;
  • blood clotting disorder;
  • severe pathologies of the cardiovascular system;
  • tuberculosis;
  • predisposition to keloidosis.

Microdermabrasion - gentle removal of the top layer of the skin

Atrophic and small normotrophic scars The procedure is performed under local anesthesia: using ultrasound, aluminum oxide or acids A new layer of healthy skin is formed instead of scar tissue. All of the above + individual intolerance to the active substance (aluminum oxide, organic acids)

Photocorrection - masking scar tissue to match skin color

Hyper-, normotrophic scars, as well as atrophic, having a red color Exposure to light rays on scar tissue, which destroys excessive pigmentation and blood vessels Scar lightening and softening
  • herpes;
  • fresh tan;
  • treatment with sulfonamides, antibiotics, retinoids during and 14 days before therapy

Cryodestruction - removal of pathological tissue by freezing

It is carried out under anesthesia. The scar tissue is cauterized with an applicator soaked in liquid nitrogen for a short period of time. Edema and a bubble appear at the site of exposure, which opens after 5-7 days, and the wound begins to heal with the formation of a crust, under which healthy tissue is already forming. A pink scar is formed at the site of exposure, which gradually takes on the color of healthy skin (within six months)
  • hypersensitivity;
  • circulatory disorders at the site of exposure;
  • collagen diseases;
  • autoimmune pathologies;
  • taking immunosuppressants;
  • skin hyperpigmentation, cryoglobulinemia;
  • gangrenous pyoderma;
  • inflammatory process at the site of exposure;
  • Raynaud's disease

microwave therapy

This is an additional therapy performed with the help of microwave electromagnetic radiation, used in cryodestruction for more effective healing.

Some hypertrophic and keloid scars Point impact (heating) special apparatus on scar tissue, painless Flatter scar, less visible with minimal risk of recurrence
  • tendency to bleed;
  • blood diseases;
  • thyrotoxicosis;
  • metal fragments in exposed tissues;
  • sharp swelling of the face;
  • inflammation

Buki-irradiation

This is the irradiation of the surface layers of scar tissue with Buka rays (X-rays) with a minimum x-ray load. When removing chronic keloid scars, preliminary cryodestruction is performed

Keloid and hypertrophic scars. Scar prevention Point impact with a special apparatus on scar tissue, painless

Prevention of growth and deformation of scars.

Elimination of keloid scars

  • circulatory decompensation;
  • kidney disease;
  • dermatitis;
  • residual wounds at the site of impact

Removal of scars with a laser - exposure to scar tissue with dosed laser radiation

All types of scars, any size and location

Impact on the scar tissue with a carbon dioxide laser after preliminary anesthesia - heating and evaporation of the pathological tissue occurs with simultaneous stimulation of the production of its own collagen and elastin.

A more gentle, “cold” method is also practiced using an erbium laser - delicate, high-precision laser resurfacing of the scar.

Formation of healthy tissue at the site of the scar
  • psoriasis;
  • dermatitis;
  • cystic acne;
  • inflammation;
  • poor blood clotting;
  • decompensated diabetes;
  • taking retinoids

Surgical excision is a rather rare radical method for removing scar tissue.

Keloid scars Various surgical techniques, sometimes multi-stage, the choice of which depends on the type, shape, localization and size of the scar - from simple excision to operations with expander plasty or using own tissues. Performed under general anesthesia. Complete removal of scar tissue without the risk of recurrence
  • diseases of the cardiovascular system and respiratory tract;
  • psychical deviations;
  • acute inflammatory processes

Filling the scar with collagen, adipose tissue, hyaluronic acid - the introduction of a special drug into the scar area

Atrophic scars The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. The drug is injected into the sinking area of the tissue, which leads to a visible alignment of the surface of the scar. Temporary elimination of atrophic changes (from 4 to 18 months). The procedure can be repeated.
  • individual intolerance to the drug used;
  • scar inflammation

Medical methods

This is an adjunct therapy with medications. Can be supplemented with microcurrent therapy to improve the effect.

Hypertrophic and keloid scars Introduction to the scar tissue of drugs from the following groups:
  • corticosteroids: Kenalog-40, Triamcinolone acetate, Diprospan;
  • enzymes: Lidase, Ronidase;
  • acids: hyaluronic acid (mesotherapy, often practiced to treat post-acne skin changes);
  • immunomodulators: alpha and gamma interferons, Pyrogenal;
  • cytostatics: Fluorouracil, Bleomycin.
Accelerating the resolution of pathological scar tissue and the formation of new, healthy skin. - individual intolerance

Other Methods

Some types of hypertrophic and keloid scars
  • Gels and ointments: Contractubex, Mederma, Dermatix, etc.
  • Electro- and phonophoresis (for delivering drug ions directly to the focus of exposure).
Acceleration of tissue regeneration processes, reduction of symptoms that accompany scar resolution (itching, discomfort). intolerance to physiotherapeutic methods and hypersensitivity to these drugs.

How to remove acne scars

We will devote a separate section to how to get rid of acne scars - one of the most common skin defects.

Why does a scar appear at the site of a pimple?

Even with the natural process of resolving a pimple, a mark remains on the skin - a bluish, red or brownish spot, which is an accumulation of melanin in the focus of former inflammation. If the pimple is forcibly squeezed out, this leads to the destruction of the epidermis, infection, its spread deep into and purulent fusion of inflamed tissues, which are replaced by connective tissue during healing. The situation is aggravated by reduced immunity, non-compliance with asepsis rules, and prolonged exposure to the sun.

A similar process is realized with improper care of rashes when chicken pox- combing leads to deepening and inflammation of pockmarks, the healing of which in the future occurs already with the formation of a scar.

Cosmetical tools

They are selected individually, taking into account the severity of the problem, contraindications and are applied for a long period of time. Suitable for the treatment of depigmented skin without signs of scarring.

It is used to eliminate pigmentation, improve trophism and cell regeneration. The serum contains a complex of active substances (DRM BRIGHT + Diakalit + Lipohydroxy acid), which remove excess melanin, protect against UV rays, moisturize and nourish cells.

Preparations help get rid of pigmented points after the resolution of the pimple. They contain azelaic acid, which normalizes metabolic processes and removes excess melanin from the skin.

A whitening cream designed to be applied to pigmented areas of the skin before going to bed. Contains glycolic acid, alpha-arbutin, kojic acid dipalmitate.

Cream based on tretinoin retinoid, which promotes skin exfoliation and effective whitening of pigmentation. Applied at night.

Cream based on Dimethylmethoxy-chromanyl-palmitate, which inhibits melanin synthesis, moisturizes the skin and protects against aggressive UV rays.

Therapeutic agents

They are prescribed in the presence of connective tissue changes after acne. They have keratolytic, fibrinolytic, antithrombotic and anti-inflammatory effects. They inhibit the growth of connective tissue and promote the resorption of keloid areas, while accelerating the growth of healthy skin. They are also selected individually, taking into account possible contraindications!

Zeraderm gel and cream. Forms a film of polysiloxane on the skin, which softens and thins the scar. The active substances of the cream activate regeneration, eliminate inflammation in the tissues. Used to treat keloid and hypertrophic scars.
Dermatix gel and cream. It also forms a film on the skin similar to that described above, eliminates itching, burning and pigmentation. Used to treat keloid and hypertrophic scars, both fresh and old.
Contractubex.
Gel based on allantoin, heparin and onion extract. Slows down the growth of scar fibroblasts and proteoglycans, stimulates the synthesis of healthy cells and collagen. Effectively smoothes keloid and hypertrophic scars.
Kelo-cote.
Gel and spray that forms a film on the scar that smoothes, thins and softens the scar and stimulates collagen synthesis. Suitable for all types of scars.
Cream based on silicone, retinoic, ascorbic, acids, cystamine, dandelion root, licorice etc. It also forms a film that softens scar tissue and promotes its resorption.

In medicine, they are considered benign neoplasms and are prone to growth on healthy areas of the skin. The reasons for this pathology have not been identified.
  2. Atrophic. A scar appears from herpes on the face, acne, or multiple small wounds. The top layer of the skin or muscles peels off, the skin becomes loose and indented.
  3. Tightened. Burn scars (boiling water, acid, fire) fall into this category. Usually, large areas of skin are damaged, so the skin is pulled towards the center of the wound, and the scar looks wrinkled.
  4. Hypertrophic. They are easily confused with keloids. They also rise above the skin, but do not tend to grow, and later discolor and smooth out.
  5. Stretch marks or stretch marks. Occur as a result of sudden weight gain or loss. For example, during pregnancy or sudden weight loss. The skin is not injured, the surface is not damaged. Damaged tissue sinks into the skin and is barely noticeable.
